I definitely support America’s freedom of speech and peaceful protest. However it’s not the knee bending I detest but rather the venue in which it occurs. Fans pay a lot of money to attend NFL games and not to have their flag and nation disrespected. If the players, coaches, etc want to display their hatred of the vast majority of Americans, perhaps they should use some of their millions of dollars to begin their protests in stadiums they rent and give free admission to all who care to attend, in stead of forcing hard working Americans to pay for it involuntarily…but leftists can only gain ground by totalitarian tactics. Ever wonder why their world view must be forced upon people? Sol Alinski -ites all.
]]>You’re confused so I’ll break it down slowly for you. The act of standing up while the national anthem is playing whilst looking at the flag is a sign of respect toward this country and those who serve (present & past). As far as protesting is concerned if you kneel this is emblematic of one protesting stars & stripes and all that she represents (freedom & liberty). Get it now?
]]>All this is are progressives playing the blame game. It only serves to divide us & keep the black man down. I truly believe Trump purposely started this NFL thing knowing it would dominate this conversation instead of the upcoming GOP failure of not repealing Obamacare.
Will be switching from Republican to Independent-status next election due in large part to the Rhinos (McCain, Cruz, etc. & GOP “swampies.”
