Those who are not natural born: Obama, McCain (not born on the base,) Jindal, Rubio, Cruz. Jinal and Rubio are not even close to being qualified. I must add I think Jindal was great. The key to natural born is where does one’s allegiance, by birth, lay.

Obama’s father, he says, was a British subject and, then, he was adopted in Indonesia where he was identified as Muslim (school record) and receives an Indonesian passport under which he went to Pakistan. NONE OF THIS IS NEW INFORMATION. THere is no evidence he rejected his Indonesian citizenship.

A person born in America can be native born. Congress regulates naturalization, which has zero to do with natural born.

You can read primary materials or listen to talking heads on FOX. Then, you can have bread and circuses. Voters sense a problem, so they are throwing out the politicians and the bath water, but unless we see what has happened, the new boss will be the same as the old boss.

Oops, Ted WAS born, I meant not born to TWO US citizens and has Canadian citizenship.

OK. But that does not change the fact that Ted Cruz was not born and has not been subject ONLY to the jurisdiction of the united States. He had/has citizenship in Canada and owes allegiance to Canada.

And just one parent who is a citizen is no different than Obama.

Secondly, nor can they be elected senators of the United States, until nine years thereafter. Thirdly, they are forever incapable of being chosen to the office of president of the United States. Persons naturalized before the adoption of the constitution, it is presumed, have all the capacities of natural born citizens. See C. U. S. Art. 1, 2.

Furthermore, historical precedent, including the quote you used above, said “parents” as in BOTH parents. I wonder if just one parent would qualify in the opinion of those whom you quote.

BTW, if Cruz is qualified, then Obama was as well.
