But then, the last time I checked, in a book, he was also expressing the only really rational view of the role of insurance in the medical care system that I’ve read. Why should 2016 be about who sits next to whom in the cafeteria? Why not about the most sensible way to reduce unnecessary medical care expense, such that we can afford to offer a safety net for those who really need it?
