Have you heard of the research to make sperm from a woman’s stem cells, and eggs from a man’s? It’s what ties the Transgender and SSM movements together, they are both a demand to reproduce using artificial gametes. We don’t have to let people do that, it needs to be prohibited.
I have proposed a compromise solution to preserve marriage and natural conception rights and stop genetic engineering and transhumanism. The compromise part is that we’d agree to let same-sex couples form Civil Unions defined as “marriage minus conception rights” and they’d agree to give up the demand for same-sex marriage and same-sex procreation rights and accept a ban on creating human beings by any method other than joining a man’s sperm and a woman’s egg. Please don’t reject this compromise because it involves Civil Unions, these would not be stepping stones to marriage or legally equivalent, and they would highlight the meaning of marriage as approving and allowing people to have sex and conceive offspring together.
I call it the Egg and Sperm Civil Union Compromise and I think it is the way to stop the transhuman/homosexual agenda and reverse course and restore marriage. I hope Michael Sullivan sees it as a way to highlight the wackiness of his opponents (or even better, I hope they all see it and agree to it too, and stop saying that same-sex couples should have equal rights as a married man and woman. They do not have a right to procreate offspring.
