Cruz: We Cannot Let This Guy Get Away

nra leadership forumMy wife Mary and I are in Nevada with our Conservative Campaign Committee team, campaigning for Ted Cruz.  We awoke this morning to snow.  Mary asked me to walk several blocks from our hotel to Walgreen’s to pick up a few things.  With my headset plugged into my smartphone, I listened to Ted Cruz’s press conference during my trek.

Wow!  Cruz’s brilliant, bold performance at that press conference showcased why America desperately needs Ted Cruz in the White House.  The MSM (Democrat operatives) tried to use Obama’s talking points to pressure Cruz and the GOP into allowing Obama to appoint a flaming liberal to the Supreme Court in his remaining months.  Cruz did not fall for it.  He firmly said no, not happening.

Cruz went on to say: “And I believe we should make 2016 a referendum on the U.S. Supreme Court.  If the Democrats want to jam in a liberal judicial activist to undermine the First Amendment, to undermine the Second Amendment, to take away our religious liberty, we should make that an issue for the American people.”

“We should not confirm a justice nominee during an election year, particularly with a lawless president who has undermined the Constitution at every stage.”

Folks, Republicans simply do not tell the no-holds-barred truth about Obama like that.  It just isn’t done!

Later, a CCC team member sent me video of Ted Cruz featured on CNN’s Republican Presidential Town Hall, hosted by leftist operative Anderson Cooper.

Once again, Cruz’s confident stature and performance blew me away.  With a smile, Cruz brilliantly touted conservatism despite being in the belly of the leftist beast, in the presence of his enemies.  Cruz boldly rebuked Planned Parenthood for possible criminal activity, winning him audience applause.

In other words, Cruz remained Cruz – no moderating his message to pander to liberals and low-info CNN viewers.  Now, that’s what I’m talkin’ about, folks.

A stirring in my soul told me, “Oh, my gosh – as patriots, we can not allow this man to get away.  We cannot blow this extremely rare opportunity to elect a true thoroughbred conservative Reaganite – only to allow Cruz to fade away into the sunset.”

Ted Cruz is truly the one we have been waiting and praying for.  Obviously empowered by his faith and the knowledge that he has right on his side, Cruz confronts the GOP establishment, the Democratic Party, and their MSM henchmen.  Cruz boldly demands, Let my people go.

In the current political matrix, Ted Cruz is “The One.”

Mr. Marcus, Please make sure that dirty tricks and dirty calls aren’t made and blamed on Mr. Cruz. I feel sure the underhanded things done in SC was from his competitors and Democrats since we have an open Primary. God bless you and Ted Cruz.

Cruz does not meet the Constitutional requirements to run as POTUS.
BOTH parents must be American born natural citizens.
For that matter, neither is Rubio.
We MUST adhere to our fiungmders Constitution in totality. We can’t just throw out bits and pieces like Obama and TGE Democrats did.
Thank s for your work in bringing truth.

Hi Donahue, the Constitution says candidate, not candidates parents. “No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President.”
McCain and George Romney (Mitt’s dad) were born outside the US, and they were eligible to run. Every state has validated Cruz to be on their primary ballot. so it really can’t be undone at this point, even if there is an argument (which there isn’t)

“Even though Congress could change this law to require a parent to be a citizen at birth to be natural born, they have not done so and so the law in place is the standing definition. Cruz was born to an American citizen. He was a citizen at birth based on the law of Congress then in place. Both men are eligible.”

Cruz makes a great explanation here:

If that were really true, then Trump is ineligible, because his mother was not a natural born citizen. She was born in Scotland.

Does that mean that any service man or woman who have children over seas or missionaries children can never be President? And actually this is settled already.Anyone born to a parent who is a US citizen, doesn’t have to be both,as long as they meet certain residency requirements and the candidate themselves meet the residency and age requirements they are eligible.

Ted Cruz is an honest constitutional person and he loves America and he is oing this for the country not for himself. I hope America will give him the chance to prove he is the best person for the job and he ill put his whole heart and soul into this job. This is our last chance America and if you put the wrong person in as President this country as a Republic is over and we will never get it back. Please educate yourself before you vote and vote with your heart not your emotions. God Bless this country.
