Last year when Tea Party Express rolled into Elko, NV, Mr. and Mrs. Thayne Church had 15 children. Yesterday, the Church family showed up at our tea party rally with mom holding number 16. I really like these people folks. Their kids are well behaved, upbeat and bright.

I asked momma Church the secret to having such an obviously happy family. Mrs. Church said, “We teach our kids they are a blessing to each other”.

The Church family is the kind of salt of the earth good people I have met on all of my five Tea Party Express tours around America. They are not the angry white racist mobs reported in the Obama media.

We did a rally in Salt Lake City, UT and spent the night.

This morning at 5:45am, CNN sent a car to bring me to a studio for a 6:30am TV interview. Yesterday, a producer called me for a “pre-interview interview”. I wanted to take this opportunity of being on CNN to defend the tea party against the left’s despicable false charges of racism.

The program producer said they would prefer to discuss my thoughts regarding the Republican presidential field; which candidates are not tea party enough for me. I sensed the producer was baiting me to beat up on Republicans and stay away from the topic of race.

On the TV program, the CNN host had an agenda to trash, minimize the effect and demoralize the Tea Party. I refused to allow her to get away with it.

To the CNN host’s displeasure, I even defended the tea party against the false accusations of racism. Arrogantly, the left are relentless in their efforts to portray the tea party as racist and get extremely annoyed when we counter their accusations with the truth.

After my CNN interview, I was back on the Tea Party Express bus for a six hour ride to our next rally in Cheyenne, WY.

Our team includes Gold Star Mom, Debbie Lee. Her son, Marc Alan Lee was the first Navy Seal killed in Iraq. In honor of her decorated son, Debbie founded, AmericasMightyWarriors.org which benefits the families of fallen soldiers.

As we crossed great plains canopied by spacious skies, Debbie asked if I had ever seen a jac-ca-lope which looks like a cross between a jack rabbit and an antelope. I am a city boy originally from Baltimore. So, I was excited about seeing this animal indigenous to the plains.

I parked myself at the front of the bus along side our bus driver hoping to see a jac-ca-lope. After about an hour, my wife Mary joined me. I told her why I was filled with anticipation visually scanning the massive countryside.

Mary said, “There is no such thing as a jac-ca-lope”.

Then, I heard Debbie Lee laughing. I know the Bible speaks against revenge. But, I am planning my perfect opportunity to pay back Debbie Lee.

Mary and I left our home in Central Florida at 5am. We flew/traveled 12 hours to hook up with the Tea Party Express bus in Oakland, CA. After a quick shower and wardrobe change, we arrived in Napa, CA where I performed at the tour launching fund raising VIP gala.

Still on east coast time, I awoke at 5:30am for our 11am Napa Tea Party. Napa is absolutely beautiful. I do not drink. But, my wife Mary throughly enjoyed sampling the local wines.

I was excited to meet a young Christian band called “Remnant” who was the opening act before our Tea Party Express team took the stage. Check out “Remnant” on Youtube.

The beauty of our extraordinary Tea Party movement is We The People using our gifts and talents and following our passions; patriots doing their part to take back America.

One such patriot I met today at our Napa rally is author, Robin Bohr. Robin’s husband Mike got tired of her yelling at the TV. He suggested Robin write a book.

Robin penned, “Tea Party: American Revolution 2.0”. It is the compelling history of average Americans entering the political arena for the first time.

After Napa, we traveled three hours to do our rally in Sparks, Nevada. Then, we traveled three hours to Winnemucca, NV where we spent the night.

Our bodies still not totally on west coast time yet, we are on the bus headed to Elko, NV, our first rally of two today. Our second rally is in Salt Lake City, UT, four hours away. The mountains and spacious skies are breathtaking. I think I will sing, “America the Beautiful” at our Elko rally.

Please, please, please understand, as we said in the 60s, “where I’m coming from”. This article is NOT about bashing homosexuals. I have homosexual family and friends whom I love very much.

However, I found David Gregory’s attack on Michele Bachmann for comments she made regarding homosexuality to be extremely disturbing and offensive. Bachmann is a Christian and simply compassionately espoused the biblical point of view.

Just as Muslims live by the Quran, Christians strive to live by the Bible. Here are a few Bible quotes about homosexuality.

Lev. 18:22, “You shall not lie with a male as one lies with a female; it is an abomination.”

Lev. 20:13, “If there is a man who lies with a male as those who lie with a woman, both of them have committed a detestable act;…”

Rom. 1:26-27, “…for their women exchanged the natural function for that which is unnatural, ²⁷and in the same way also the men abandoned the natural function of the woman and burned in their desire toward one another, men with men committing indecent acts…”

Whether you agree with the Bible or not is irrelevant. My point is Bachmann did not “make up” her take on homosexuality. It came from a holy book considered sacred by mega millions worldwide.

So, when Gregory beat up on Bachmann, he was really attacking Christians and the Bible. But, most disturbing was Gregory’s arrogant bullying and implicit threat to all who disagree.

In effect, he announced: We, the media, have declared homosexuality normal; period, end of subject. Anyone of you Neanderthals daring to suggest otherwise will suffer the consequences.

Would Gregory have been so aggressive interviewing a Muslim presidential candidate about their beliefs? I suspect not.

Most Americans accept homosexuals and are repulsed by anyone abusing them. However, America’s acceptance of homosexuals is not good enough for the left. The left wish to bend our arms behind our backs until we cry “uncle”, proclaiming homosexuality to be normal.

Even home improvement and cooking TV programs feature a high number of homosexual couples disproportionate to the population. Clearly, many TV producers have an agenda to normalize the homosexual lifestyle.

My dad has been in Christian ministry as a pastor for 50 years. Dad said he is being pressured to embrace the Gospel of Homosexuality. He added, “Those of us who disagree are being pushed into the closet.”

Has the left won? Are we afraid to quote the Bible’s rebuke of homosexuality?

Think about this folks. According to the left, if you disapprove of men sodomizing each other and women performing cunnilingus on each other, not only are you a “hater”, you are deemed mentally ill; diagnosed as homophobic and in need of treatment.

During his Bachmann interview, Gregory kept referring to homosexuals as “Gay Americans” in an attempt to make disapproval of a “sexual behavior” the same as discriminating against an ethnic group; African, Hispanic and other Americans. The left reinforces the theme, calling opposition to the homosexual agenda “bigotry”.

Black Civil Rights groups are offended by the left comparing their struggle to that of homosexuals.

I state again, “I have homosexual family and friends whom I love very much.” However, loving them does not mean I must submit to dictatorial pressure from the media to embrace the homosexual lifestyle as being normal.

To get their way, the left always distorts the discord, portraying all opposition to equal the extreme evil.

For example. Americans welcome “legal” immigrants with open arms. We oppose “illegal” immigration and all the crime and stress on our welfare system which comes with it. The left brands anyone seeking to protect our borders extremist, anti-immigration and racist.

If you believe elementary kids should not be forced to celebrate Gay Pride Day and not be encouraged to experiment with homosexuality, the left numbers you among the minority of nut cases seeking to harm homosexuals.

Regardless of the issue, the left via their liberal media enforcers, slanders the opposition, painting them to be haters and extremists. Former Obama supporters turned off by his unfolding socialistic agenda are suddenly, “redneck racists against a black president”.

Patriots, I realize all of you are not Christians and my purpose is not to force my faith on anyone. This article is not about whether homosexuality is right or wrong. It is about the liberal media throwing down the gauntlet saying, “Hey, you Christians had better get with the program regarding the normalcy of homosexuality, or else!”

The liberal media usurping ultimate authority to enforce their “ultimate consensus” on an issue, destroying anyone who dares think otherwise, is a serious assault on our freedom.

Due to Obama’s declining poll numbers, Democrat tongues loosened by cocktails at parties are quietly suggesting, “Wouldn’t it be wonderful if we could primary Obama out with Hillary? Darn it, we can’t because Obama is black!”

I say, “Hallelujah — a perfect example of divine justice.” They who live by the race card die by the race card.

Almost three years ago, the Democrats offered their equivalent of a Trojan Horse to America in the form of a shiny, new, extremely well-crafted, beautiful black man. Its mega-internal speakers broadcast a hypnotic message, heavily reverbed to create a godlike effect and looped 24/7, promising “Hope and Change.”

A “perfect storm” of circumstances led to America’s enthusiastic embrace of the Democrats’ ebony idol Trojan Horse: white guilt, black racism, and perhaps even the popularity of the American Idol TV show. Obama was the first “rock star” American Ebony Idol presidential candidate.

Democrats were elated by their good fortune.

Obama would be the key to implementing all of their liberal-academia, utopia-producing theories, his black skin insulating him from any and all opposition. Oppose Obama? You’re racist!

The Democrats keep their R-for-racist branding iron red-hot and ready to apply swift retribution to any feisty, uppity conservative or Republican who dares challenge Obama.

Basking in their tactical genius, Democrats thought, “We did it! We pulled off the perfect exploitation of race to implement our socialistic agenda; a liberal black man in the White House.” Someone at the DNC even broke out their old Commodores record as they partied: “Ce-le-brate good times, C’MON!”

As America slept, one night under the cover of darkness, a hidden door in the ebony idol opened; out rushed an army of vicious liberal minions, freedom-killing mandates, and socialistic policies. Their mission: destroy our capitalist system and massacre America as we know it.

Totally unexpected and to the horror of the Democrats, We The People rose up. Patriots, via divine inspiration, formed the Tea Party. Patriot freedom-fighters began winning skirmishes around the country — governorships in New Jersey, Virginia, and Florida — and defeating the tyrannous teachers’ union in Wisconsin, to name a few. We took the House. We will take the Senate and are predicted to take the White House in 2012.

The Democrats’ ebony idol, their so-called gift to America, has been exposed for the fraud it truly is — a hollow, soulless shell of empty liberal ideology, its internal recorded message malfunctioning and distorted, stuck repeating the phrase, “I blame…I blame…I blame…”

Seeing the handwriting on the wall via polling, the Dems wish they could abandon their disastrous ebony race card for Hillary, their gender card.

But alas, they cannot. After spending the last three years, assisted by their media minions, convincing Americans that any and all criticism of or opposition to Obama is racist, Democrats find themselves victims of their own trap. Fearing the repercussions, Dems do not dare display the slightest abandonment of Obama. I love it! They who live by the race card die by the race card.

Despite the media’s relentless attempts to brand us otherwise, the Tea Party has never been about race. Our focus and sole desire have been to uphold the Constitution and restore our freedom, liberty, and culture. The Tea Party’s goals are much higher than the Democrats’ bottom-feeding agenda of exploiting race for political gain. This is why it is so sweet that they are stuck with their loser black candidate.

You leftists, do not try to spin my comment as being racist. I, along with millions of my white Tea Party brothers and sisters, would gladly cast a presidential vote for blacks such as Herman Cain and Col. Allen West in a heartbeat. So don’t even go there.

Ironically, the Democrats who claim ownership of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. shamefully dishonor his dream. The Tea Party, vilified by the Democrats, fully embraces MLK’s dream by judging and selecting their candidates by the content of their character rather than the color of their skin. Thus, the Tea Party, much-hated by Democrats, is the realization of MLK’s dream. And for the record, MLK was a Republican.

The Democrats played the ultimate race card — an incompetent affirmative-action president, and now they are stuck with him. The faux finish on their once-shiny ebony idol is rapidly deteriorating, peeling off daily. Come 2012, Obama is a sure loser. “Ce-le-brate good times, C’MON!”

“Does any one know Lloyd Marcus?

Since when did African Americans become so equal that they could afford to support groups that are obviously anti-Black. Does he not know that a vote against Barack Obama is a vote against all African Americans?”

Dear Mr. Smith. I usually delete hate mail from the left. Because your email did not begin with the typical calling me numerous expletives and the “n” word, I will reply.

I find it amazing how blind you are regarding YOUR racism. You call millions of Americans, many who voted for Obama, “obviously anti-Black” because they disapprove of his socialistic agenda . So, because we have a black president, any and all criticism is automatically deemed to be racist. Last time I checked, this is still America where folks have a right to disagree regardless of the president’s skin color.

In response to your statement: “Does he not know that a vote against Barack Obama is a vote against all African Americans?”

Good lord Mr. Smith, not only is this statement absurd, it is evil. You are instructing black Americans not to consider who Obama is as a human being. According to you, Obama’s values, principles and vision for America are irrelevant.

In essence, you are saying Obama’s skin color MUST trump EVERYTHING! Can you not see the immorality of such thinking? What if white America followed your lead. “If you do not vote for the white guy, you are voting against all white Americans.” Only a white skin head would make such an idiotic, evil proclamation.

But then, you probably do not consider black racism to be immoral. I suspect you view America’s sin of slavery, a ga-zillion years ago, as a gold credit card entitling blacks to limitless acts of racism.

Mr Smith, over 50% of black babies are aborted which Obama supports via Planned Parenthood. Obama supports gay marriage. Black unemployment has risen to an unprecedented high under Obama.

As a Christian, Obama’s agenda does not “jive” with my values. You are insisting that I worship Obama’s skin color over my God. I will not.

Sarah Palin’s latest “in your face” to the Obama administration in defense of the tea party is guaranteed to infuriate the left and terrify the timid on our side. Sarah said, “If we were real domestic terrorists, shoot, Obama would want to pal around with us, wouldn’t he?”

Wow! I looovvvvve this woman!

Compare Palin’s kahonies to those of Republican presidential candidate, Jon Huntsman. Huntsman encouraged Republicans to surrender to Obama during the debt ceiling battle. Get this folks, as a contender for the White House, Huntsman said he will not attack Obama.

How absurd is that? Huntsman’s going into the ring with the Mike Tyson of politics, and his strategy is not to hit.

Compared to the John Wayne true grit of Sarah Palin, Mr Huntsman sounds pathetically metro-sexual.

Talk about a “no surrender, no retreat” attitude, despite a relentless unprecedented effort to destroy her and her family, Palin is just as bold and beautiful as she was when she gave her extraordinary VP nominee acceptance speech in 2008.

I know you fearful folks on our side will flood me with emails about how Palin is too this or too that. Well I am sorry, but every time this woman speaks, I feel excited. But most important, I feel empowered. After the Republicans’ depressing cave on the debt ceiling, Lord knows we tea party patriots desperately need to feel empowered.

So many folks on our side feel they must walk on eggshells, careful not to offend the left. Palin boldly and unapologetically stands up for God, family and country.

The left has so successfully branded traditional values embraced by most Americans extreme, many feel intimidated and fearful to stand up for them. For example. I caught a minute of a TV show called The Glee Project which is obviously targeted for youths. The show featured young couples, including two boys as a couple, sexually caressing each other while singing a song about “going all the way”. The musical production number was a blatant promotion of homosexuality and promiscuity to our kids.

Call me an old fuddy-duddy and while I realize the TV show is on cable, I still found it a bit shocking and outrageous that such programming is considered normal.

The left appears to be calling the shots, setting the rules, culturally and politically. Advisers say we Conservatives must be civil, willing to compromise and work with the other side.

I am all for civility, but it only works when both sides have honorable intentions. Civility does not work when one side, Obama and the Democrats, treats the discord as a no-holds-barred street brawl. The left views civility from their opposition as a window of opportunity to strike and land a deathblow.

Sarah Palin fully understands this reality. Palin realizes the left will never fight fair or be honest. Pandering to the left is perceived as weakness. Thus, the only solution is to defeat them.

I still marvel at how some people on our side have bought into the Obama media’s manufactured image of Palin.

While the left’s destruction of her image is extremely successful on some level, Palin’s “right stuff” still bursts through, casting a powerful beam of light exhilarating millions. Palin has “it.” Whatever that “it” is, this amazing woman has “it.”

Can you imagine the excitement of Palin throwing her hat into the 2012 presidential ring? Move over, Thrilla in Manila (Ali/Frazier), as the most exciting fight of all time. I’m talkin’ Palin vs Obama, Mano a Mano: the Thrilla from Wasilla vs. the Chicago Thug.

Betting on this “fight of the century” could help Vegas’s economy recover from Reed being their senator and Obama trashing businesses that go there.

The more I think about Palin vs. Obama in the ring, the more excited I become. Images flash in my brain. It is the long-awaited, much-anticipated day of the main event.

Palin enters the ring wearing an Old Glory-themed robe to Lee Greenwood singing, “God Bless the USA (Proud to be an America).” Obama enters the ring wearing a pink robe, courtesy of Code Pink, as Al Sharpton sings, “We Shall Overcome”.

For 14 rounds, Obama and Palin pound each other as the upper hand changes several times. Then, round fifteen — the final round.

Palin, exhausted from battling Obama and his tag-team partner, the liberal media, miraculously lands a knockout punch to Obama’s jaw. The final bell rings. The fight is over. Sarah Palin has won the 2012 presidential election. The crowd of mostly Tea Party patriots goes crazy with jubilation. Obama’s media is stunned.

Reporters flock to the rubber-legged, emotionally drained Palin. Sarah’s eyes focus on her husband Todd as he pushes his way through the thronging media. Sarah tearfully yells, “Tooooooodd!” Todd yells, “Sarrah!!!”

Finally he reaches her. They embrace, “Todd, I love you!” “I love you too!” is Todd’s reply. Our national anthem plays in the background.

AS RECALL CAMPAIGNS HEAT UP

The Campaign to Defeat Barack Obama (website: www.CampaignToDefeatObama.com) has launched a series of TV ad buys in Wisconsin that inject President Obama’s failures into the Wisconsin RECALL campaigns.

The Campaign to Defeat Obama is spending over $100,000 on their television and online ad blitz with the goal of boosting turnout of conservative voters in the RECALL elections which take place on Tuesday, August 9th.

The ad campaign comes in response to aggressive involvement by the Obama-affiliated “Organizing for America” in the RECALL campaigns.

“Since President Obama decided to play politics in Wisconsin instead of focusing on the many problems facing this nation, we thought it was important for there to be a conservative counterweight to his actions with the recalls,” said Lloyd Marcus, Co-Chairman of The Campaign to Defeat Barack Obama.

The organization, which counts several thousand supporters in the state, has also opened War Rooms in Milwaukee and Green Bay metro areas during the past few weeks as the RECALL campaigns have heated up.

As I left the store, a blue shirted elderly woman sporting a warm smile said, “Thank you for shopping at Walmart.” For some reason, it struck me, “Wow, all this was started by one man, Sam Walton”.

I caught a bit of the Walmart story while flipping through the channels a few days earlier. Walton’s wife said, “We were finally out of debt and living comfortably. But, that was not enough for Sam. He had an idea for a new store”.

A businessman on the TV program said, “I liked Sam. So, when he showed me his new store, I leveled with him. I said it was the worst store I had even seen and could never work. Thank God Sam did not listen to me”.

Sam Walton following his dream, passion and vision created a worldwide phenomenon employing two million associates in the U.S.; one man affecting the lives of mega millions. Wow!

Patriots, like so many of you, I am extremely frustrated by the debt ceiling deal. We worked our butts off to get tea party candidates elected and the Republicans still caved. Our country is disappearing and this latest fiasco in DC left me feeling pretty helpless to change anything.

But, that little old lady thanking me for shopping at Walmart, Sam Walton’s legacy, reminded me of the power and impact of just one man. I felt inspired.

I am only one man. Despite political betrayals, with all that is within me, I will stay diligent in my efforts to free my beloved country from this vile, tyrannous and evil enemy within known as Barack Hussein Obama in 2012.

History is full of individuals like Sam Walton who changed the world. Patriots, each of us possess more power than we can imagine. Please, please, please do not give up. Stay committed to do your part to take back America.

Like Sam Walton, one committed man or woman can make a world of difference.
