Two days ago, Jon Huntsman launched his campaign to win the White House. Huntsman promised a civil campaign respectful of president Obama. Apparently, Huntsman has embraced the republican strategist and John McCain, “Can’t attack the black guy or the media will attack you” approach to campaigning. Just two days after Huntsman’s ‘I’m gonna play nice” speech, Florida democrats have launched a shock and awe campaign attacking Huntsman. This confirms the democrats with their liberal buddies following suit, with trash our republican/conservative candidate no matter what.

Displaying “off the chain” arrogance and chutzpah, democrats have launched an outrageous campaign saying republicans are against tax cuts to damage the economy for political gain. Unfortunately, there will be voters who will believe the democrats’ absurd claim.

Meanwhile, Huntsman is talking about playing nice. The man is obviously clueless about what we are up against. Mr Huntsman you are entering the ring with “ Mike Tyson, Smokin Joe Frazier and Mohammad Ali all rolled up in one democrat contender. Playing nice, refusing to lay a glove on Obama will NOT cut it. Please grasp this concept.

The Obama administration is evil. They are not going to play nice. They are going to fire both barrels, at point blank range, at every opportunity.

Patriots, our presidential candidate MUST embrace this reality.

Big, Ugly and Stupid – the Buildings Cities Build

I’ve seen it for 40 years: Big, ugly, stupid buildings. A prime example is the Ocean Center at Daytona Beach, Florida. I see it over and over. Huge, ugly conference centers, convention centers, performing arenas, art centers, every kind of center imaginable and they are all built “to save” a downtown or commercial area.

They cost the taxpayers millions and they “never” work. If we knew the truth regarding their costs and operations, we would all be sick to our stomachs. And we taxpayers sit there like idiots and let them do it. Once built they require a constant supply of cash, just to keep these projects maintained. They produce not one penny in net revenue, not one penny after expenses. They then make up figures about how the economic impact to the area economy is what they really are there to do.

It is a “bald faced lie”, a total rationalization at the very best. I have never seen an operating statement on one of these facilities. Not one! A true statement of gross sales, other revenue from sales and an honest statement of expenses: Light bills, marketing expenses (all marketing expenses) including salaries and advertising, an honest to God reporting of the cold hard facts. All we ever hear about is the “roll over” effects of the visitors or user spending in restaurants, hotels, gift shops, etc.

We’ve all heard the expression “if you dig yourself into a hole, stop digging.” We’ll be forced to stop, soon enough. We’ll be broke. Check out Detroit and Flint, Michigan. They managed to kill the goose that laid the golden egg. If someone ever did it right, it would be an international sensation. But it’s human nature: What are you going to do?

If you want to argue my perspective, show me the numbers, the honest hard numbers. That is your only real argument. Recently I heard the Mayor of Orlando defend the Amway Arena with a compliment from the Commission of the NBA “that we have the finest facility in the NBA”. What else would he say? He’s not a jerk, but the thing is losing money and will continue to do so. No parking. Look at the United Center in Chicago completely surrounded by parking (360) all around the arena (Building, Development 101). The Amway is a big, ugly, stupid building. It will cost the taxpayers of Orange County millions and we’ll never really know the truth – “never”. I just hope and pray these people don’t start building pyramids.

Patriots, I am heart broken and extremely angry. TEA for Education, a non-profit, invited me to a viewing of the documentary, “Waiting For Superman”. Wow, talk about powerful. I realize many of you are familiar with this movie, but many are not.

The movie exposes how America’s public education system is about keeping the teachers unions fat and happy at the expense of our kids. The devastating affect on the lives of “real people”, students and their parents is infuriating.

Despite what libs would have you believe, we spend a ton of money, per child, on education. And yet, public school test scores continue to plummet. Your money is not going to teachers, it is going to bureaucrats and union dues. The democrat party receives 90% of teachers unions political contributions.

In the movie, committed good teachers and administrators attempted to implement common sense changes to better educate students. They were politically beaten down and kicked to the curb by the teachers unions. How dare these teachers and administrators buck the system!

The movie exposes, “The Lemon Dance” a term used by education insiders. Every public school has bad (lemon) teachers. The teachers unions make it almost impossible to fire them. A frustrated principal, once a year, can send his lemon to another school. Hopefully, the new lemon another frustrated principal dumps on him will be a little better than what he had. Thus, The Lemon Dance.

Folks, as I said, the movie made me angry, but not with an anger which causes me to behave badly. I have a healthy righteous anger which inspires me to do something to encourage positive change. I could not wait to tell you about this extremely important and moving film.

For decades, liberals have been selling the myth that urban minority kids surrounded by drugs, poverty, gangs and crime simply can not learn. The typical liberal so-called compassionate solution was to lobby to lower standards and not expect much out of them.

Any conservative who suggests giving minorities the respect and dignity of holding them to the same academic standards as whites is branded an insensitive racist.

“Waiting For Superman” knocks the liberal myth into the stratosphere that urban low income minority students are doomed to failure. The film documents that given the proper expectation, attention, discipline and good TEACHERS, low income inner city minority students test higher than ALL students; including white kids in wealthy neighborhoods.

Another thing I find truly annoying is we black conservatives are called Uncle Tom “traitors to our race”. But, black conservatives are the ones working with the tea party to end the liberal teachers unions tyrannical grip which has wreaked havoc on the lives and education of all American students, particularly minorities.

The national black student high school dropout rate is around 70%. In many New York City minority communities only 17% of blacks graduate public high school. This is horrifically scandalous. http://bit.ly/k8uwfX

Meanwhile, the liberal media, NAACP, Jessie Jackson and company are united in their mission to protect teachers unions. Why? The teachers unions are great financial contributors to the democrats and are in complete solidarity with the left’s socialist/progressive agenda.

Sometimes God gives us great gifts in ugly packages. I was devastated when Obama won the presidency. I knew he was wrong for America.

Today, I thank God for our most far left radical president in American history. Patriots have been passively submitting to political correctness and tolerating failed liberal policies for years.

Upon entering the Oval Office, Obama immediately began fulfilling his vow to “fundamentally transform America”.This was the liberal straw that broke the camel’s back. Rather than throwing their televisions out of the window yelling, “I’m mad as hell and I’m not going to take it anymore”, Americans began having tea parties. Thus, Obama birthed the Tea Party.

TEA For Education is a perfect example of which I speak. Unopposed for far too many years, the left has been indoctrinating our kids focusing on “Heather Has Two Mommies” and “going green” while almost ignoring the teaching of reading, math and science.

Also seen in the movie, I was shocked to learn how far down the list U.S. students are testing in reading, math and science compared to the rest of the world. Truly disheartening.

And yet, our kids are well educated about how America and white males in particular, are the greatest source of evil in the world. This is unacceptable and infuriating.

So, I thank God and Obama for TEA For Education. They have chapters in 11 states and are spreading. TEA For Education is doing the Lords work, fighting on behalf of our children.

I would like to give a special “shout out” to TEA For Education Florida rep, Rhonda Lochiatto and national rep, Beverly Elliott for inviting me to the viewing. Patriots across America truly appreciate your efforts. God bless you both for your compassion and commitment to our kids.

Patriots, please see this movie. It will make you cry. It will make you angry. Good!

Anger is not always a bad thing. As a matter of fact, certain things should make you angry; such as the injustice of extremely bright black and Hispanic students being trapped in failing schools because of selfish teachers unions.

The Bible says, “Be angry, but sin not.”

My 83 year old dad has been a Christian minister most of my life. I thought back to when I was a child, how even our neighborhood winos respected my dad; partly because he was a true man of God, but I believe mostly because dad respected them. Dad always greeted everyone with a smile and a cheerful, “Hello, how ya’ doin’?”

Though well versed in the Word of God, dad’s character and attitude were his greatest sermon. The winos would aggressively protect us “HEY, that’s one of Reverend Moccasins (Marcus’) kids, leave ‘em alone!”

I was around twelve years old when our family, mom, dad and four younger siblings, moved out of a Baltimore city government housing project into our home in Pumphrey, Maryland; a black suburban community.

Upon our arrival to Pumphery, the overgrowth in our back yard was at least six feet tall. My entire family tackled the jungle. An over six foot tall, powerful, leather skinned, hard hands, old working man appeared with a huge sickle. He introduced himself and led the charge in conquering the overgrowth. We later learned that our helpful neighbor, Mr Charley, was famed as the meanest man in the community.

Mr Charley was quite outspoken about his disdain for preachers and church folks. And yet, he respected my dad. Dad and “Mean Old Man Charley” became good friends.

Dad, a young preacher with a wife and five kids needed a whopping $110 for his tuition at Baltimore School of the Bible which was not affordable for my parents. Without dad asking, Mr Charley showed up with a big jar containing $110 in dimes for dad’s tuition; such generosity from a man who claimed not to “cotton to” preachers and church folks.

There were two fine churches in Pumphery; the Baptist Church and the Methodist Church. But, our family attended a tiny storefront church in the ghetto of east Baltimore city where dad was assistant pastor.

When hurricane Andrew devastated Pumphery with water four feet high in most resident’s homes including ours and to the rooftops of others, the community sought out my dad for leadership. Folks knew they could trust the character and leadership of Reverend Marcus.

As a kid, I remember cleaning mud out of neighbor’s homes and dad, with my brother David, rescuing people from their rooftops in a small boat. Dad also worked with the Red Cross coordinating relief efforts, assisting neighbors with paper work and etc.

Watching my dad prepare his sermons taught me a valuable lesson about “putting in the necessary work and effort” into whatever you set your hands to do. Dad would prepare his well thought out, researched and entertaining sermons in his “official study”, our living room. I remember as a little boy, on many occasions, sitting on the front row in tiny churches, enjoying dad’s passionate delivery of his sermon to as few as five people.

Dad grew to pastor several large churches during his 50 years in ministry. He retired for a few years, but was called back by the conference.

Today, dad is Dr./Rev. Lloyd E. Marcus, author and pastor of four churches.

Dad, now 83, called me the other day with a question. Due to my 15 years in television broadcasting, he assumed I would know. “How much do they pay people to come on the Springer Show and humiliate themselves?”

I told dad Springer guests are not paid. They come on the program simply to be on national TV. Shame is a thing of the past. Dad was stunned.

I am extremely grateful that at 83, the dad I have admired all of my life is “still here”; as sharp, witty and upbeat as ever. Dad still has a great baritone voice. I thought, “Wow,what a tremendous blessing.”

My singing career began at age 9, singing solos in dad’s storefront church. When I became a teenager, dad and I sang together in a gospel quartet.

I am flying dad down from Maryland to Deltona Records in Florida. We are going to record a duet to go on my upcoming Christian music CD. I can hardly wait. Happy Father’s Day dad. I love you.

What part of “the Paul Ryan Budget Proposal does not affect the Medicare of seniors 55 and older” do democrats and the liberal media not understand? Are the democrats and their lib media buddies intellectually challenged and unable to grasp the concept of “does not”? No, they are co-conspirators in their despicable mission to manipulate, terrify and deceive seniors.

Their distortion of Ryan’s Medicare proposal is an example of the evil, democrat/liberal media tag team, juggernaut which challenges us in the 2012 election.

Such over the top fear tactics and lies work when not refuted.

Patriots, it is going to take a “all hands on deck” herculean effort on our part to spread the truth about Ryan’s plan, countering the Obama machine’s liberal media supported lies.

Use your creativity. Shoot and post videos. Gather patriots on street corners and in parks; all chanting the same mantra, “The dems lie! Ryan’s budget does not affect the Medicare of seniors 55 and older.”

The bazaar-o world aspect of the Medicare debate is while dems and liberal media attack Ryan, Obama is the one planning to cut 500 billion dollars from Medicare which is repealed in Ryan’s plan. Ryan’s proposal also repeals Obama’s death panels.

My 99 year old black grandmother adores Obama. Little does she know Obama’s health rationing panels would deem her a poor investment for certain medical procedures. I envision my grandmother’s application rubber stamped, “DENIED” and a federal clerk yelling, “Next!”

Everybody knows Medicare is on the road to bankruptcy. So, why would the democrats set out to destroy, portraying Paul Ryan as the devil’s advocate, the one guy making a sincere effort to save Medicare for future generations?

Allow me to offer a lesson in Democrat Compassion 101. It is NEVER about real compassion. It is ALWAYS about superior, “we know best how to run your life” power and control.

In a candid moment, Obama admitted that while it may take 10 years, his ultimate goal is to have all Americans on government run health care. Thus, Medicare failing would be a good thing, a major step toward Obama achieving his goal. It would open the door to Americans embracing government controlled health care which equals surrendering total control of our lives.

Government will decide who lives and who dies, what we eat, what time we go to bed and whether or not you can own a gun. Don’t laugh. Gun control was embedded in Hilliary Care.

Last November, we patriots made a promise to our winning tea party candidates. We said, “If you guys go to Washington and hold fast to the reasons we sent you there, WE WILL HAVE YOUR BACKS!”

Congressman Ryan believed us. This brilliant courageous young man stepped up to make “real change”. Ryan’s proposal takes on balancing the budget and stopping the bleeding of our economy caused by out of control entitlement and irresponsible spending.

Like a scene out of pro wrestling, the tag team of Mad Dog Lying Democrats and Suck Up Big Liberal Media began attacking Paul Ryan from all sides, ignoring all rules of fair play.

We MUST come to Ryan’s defense. Patriot writers, singer/songwriters, bloggers, talk show hosts and etc.; we all must do our part to get the word out. Time to go Paul Revere on the democrat’s and liberal media’s behinds. “The dems lie! Ryan’s budget does not affect the Medicare of seniors 55 and older.”

Though quite formidable, we beat the democrats and Obama’s media last November which proves we can beat them again come November 2012.

Without beating around the bush, I believe the battle being fought in America today goes beyond politics; right vs left. It is a spiritual battle; good vs evil.

“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”

The mindset of the American left is a spirit of Antichrist which is man making himself God.

Before writing me off as a Bible nut, please hear me out. Understanding this reality will explain much of the left’s behavior. Because they believe man is God, in their insane arrogance, the left think they can fix everything; legislate equal outcomes and even save or destroy the planet.

Make no mistake about it folks, we are in a spiritual battle. Ask yourself. Specifically, what about Sarah Palin inspires such visceral hatred from the left? The word is “wholesome”.

For the most part, Palin promotes love for God, family and country. She is passionately determined to thwart Obama’s plan to “fundamentally transform America”.

While realizing Palin is human and does not walk on water, Palin epitomizes heartland principles and values embraced by most Americans. Thus, we are Palin and Palin is us.

The large number of Christians in the tea party believe in right and wrong. The left has a huge problem with the concept of right and wrong. Their religion of Liberalism embraces Moral Relativism.

For these reasons, Palin and tea party are as repulsive to liberals as showing Dracula the cross.

There is definitely an anti-wholesome, anti-goodness vibe coming out of Hollywood. Hollywood leftists are vehemently anti death penalty. They rally around convicted murderers. They think anyone harming a puppy should be beaten within any inch of their life. These Hollywood libs pride themselves as being Lords of Compassion and Tolerance.

And yet, these same libs have a cow whenever someone merely suggests to a woman that she think twice before aborting her baby. Tell me there “ain’t” something spiritually wrong with such a mindset.

Because liberal elitists think man is God, they assume moral authority to confiscate as much control over our lives we simple minded god fearing peons will allow, including procreation.

I picked up a government funded brochure at my local library which basically said birthing babies is an irresponsible abuse of the planet.

Folks, this is leftist control freak hogwash! The seven billion people who live on the planet could fit in Texas enjoying about the same amount of living space as residents of New York.

God said be fruitful and multiply. But then, what the heck does God know?

In her book, “Godless”, Ann Coulter said, “If a Martian landed in America and set out to determine the nation’s official state religion, he would have to conclude it is Liberalism, while Christianity and Judaism are prohibited by law”.

I concur with Ms Coulter. The mainstream media is controlled by zealots of Liberalism who I believe are driven by a spirit of Antichrist; man is God. Thus, only man can and will fix everything.

Why does the left aggressively demand that we show utmost respect for every religion under the sun except Christianity? Remember when libs Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar stormed off the set of The View TV program when they concluded Bill O’Reilly dissed Muslims?

And yet, Rosie O’Donnell outrageously stated “Radical Christianity is just as threatening as radical Islam in a country like America”. Not one peep of disagreement or disapproval from the left.

Islam suppresses women. And yet, liberal self proclaimed feminists Goldberg, Behar and O’Donnell illogically defend Islam. These three feminists despise the extraordinarily successful Christian liberated woman, Sarah Palin. Rosie O’Donnell even lamented that Osama bin Laden did not get a fair trial.

Unquestionably, these women have issues with America and Christians; a spirit of Antichrist. At the center of Christianity is a divine Jesus. If Jesus is God, the left is not.

Even our most liberal president ever, Obama, dissed heartland Americans for “bitterly clinging to their god and guns”. Would a true Christian berate folks for finding security in trusting God?

Like an episode of Star Trek, the left believes universal peace can be achieved via America apologizing and admitting to the world that “we suck”, surrendering our power, signing treaties and singing a few verses of “Kumbaya”.

They believe the greatest source of evil in the world is warmongering Christian white guys like George Bush. If only Bush had, “Given peace a chance”.

Liberals always cater to man’s lowest base instincts. They hate standards for behavior, labeling all rebuke of bad behavior as being intolerant and judgmental. And yet, they believe without divine influence, man is capable of someday achieving universal peace. Totally absurd.

Christians believe that though we strive to do the right thing, the heart of man is critically flawed which is why we were in need of a savior, Jesus Christ.

Obama’s promise to “fundamentally transform America” is a spiritual attack on our freedom, liberty and culture.

Despite the left’s relentless attempts to ban God from America’s public square, the emergence and power of the tea party tells me God is still on our side.

Mr. Obama, though your liberal zealots perceive you to be “the messiah”, God is still on the throne. Come November 2012, you’re fired!

I’m sorry guys. Every time you flood me with emails attempting to convince me Palin can not win; is too toxic, not smart enough, a hypocrite and is only in it for the money, the courageous woman boldly does another extraordinary interview that makes me stand up and cheer, “Sarah Palin, you go girl! Nothing frustrates me more than GOP candidates walking on eggs cautious not to offend or anger the despicable, lying, agenda driven and evil liberal media. Why should we show respect for characterless people who are committed to lying and putting a negative spin on everything we say and do? The liberal media’s mission is to politically “kill” the tea party. Get it?

Sarah Palin gets it. Palin does not give a rat’s behind about what the liberal media thinks of her.

On numerous occasions, without the slightest hint of reservation or FEAR, Palin has attacked Obama “the man”; his lies, his anti-American associations, his socialist agenda, his assault on our freedom, liberty and culture and his horrific record, thus far. Thank You Sarah Palin! God bless you!

I realize I sound like a broken record, but I can not express the following point strongly enough. To beat Obama and “his media” in 2012, our candidate MUST embrace Palin’s aggressive fearless battle plan.

It has been said, only a fool brings a knife to a gunfight. Without restraint or mercy, Obama, the democrats and Obama’s liberal media gang will show up at the 2012 DC fight for the White House with mega guns firing at the tea party and the republican presidential candidate.

Any republican presidential candidate who is timid due to the historical context of Obama’s presidency saying, “God bless Obama’s heart. He meant well, but his policies have failed” is like entering this crucial battle for our country with a butter knife. Such a restrained effort would insure political death to our side and the end of America as we know it.

Patriots, we need a fearless political gunslinging hero. And so far, our heroic pistol packin’ mama is Sarah Palin.
