Obamazilla Is America’s True Nemesis, Not Fellow Patriots

Friday, November 27th, 2009

Eleven months ago, he landed on the shores of the presidency, destroying everything in his path. A gigantic, fire-breathing monster wreaking havoc, consuming private sector industries, crushing institutions which have made America great, and destroying lives. With fear and trembling we dare to utter his name…Obamazilla! Though appearing indestructible and unstoppable, millions of brave patriots arose to challenge the beast, vowing not to sit idly by as America as we know it is terminated.

OBAMAZILLA

As a patriot, I am totally focused on defeating Obamazilla, America’s true nemesis. I will not allow myself to be sidetracked into participating in Tea-Party-movement family feuds. We are blessed to have brilliant, strong-willed strategists on our side who think they know which direction is best for the movement. That is fine. However, it is unfruitful and misdirected to boycott, trash, and waste time and resources suing those on our side who have varying opinions.

No one person or organization can claim ownership or take full credit for this amazing, historical Tea Party movement. It belongs solely to We, the People. It still blows my mind how without media support, but through online social networks and word of mouth, 1.7 million patriots showed up in Washington, D.C. on 9/12 to oppose tyrannical government.

Some have even attempted to force me to take sides. They threatened, “Lloyd, if you sing at their tea party, I will no longer be your fan.” Unless a tea party group is wacko, while I may not totally agree with their approach, I consider them an ally. Again, my total focus is on the big picture: stopping the huge monster which is destroying our freedom, liberty, and culture.

Back in April, an upset California patriot e-mailed me after a successful tea party. His local organizers were gung-ho about fighting the battle on the national level. My e-mailer had a fire in his belly to fight locally. I advised my patriot brother to follow his passion. Our incredible movement was sparked by the passion of one man: Rick Santelli. What began with passion can be sustained only by passion, by everyone doing what he or she feels passionate about doing.

Besides, we need patriotic freedom-fighters in all areas and on all levels.

Unfortunately, feuding over strategies has become a major distraction in the tea party movement. No, I am not asking anyone to compromise beliefs or ideas. Quite the opposite. Whatever way you and your group choose to fight Obamazilla is fine with me. But do not feud with tea party patriots who disagree or do not share your passion. Remember, your target is Obamazilla.

Like everyone else, I have opinions regarding the focus of the movement, but I will not allow my opinions to cause me to break fellowship with my fellow freedom-fighters.

For example, some think the Tea Party movement should remain “pure” by not supporting any political candidates. I disagree. We can tea party until the cows come home, but if we do not work to put true conservatives in office, we are simply making noise without achieving anything.

Another source of contention in the movement is talk of a third political party. I believe a third party would ensure the election of Democrats. Remember how Ross Perot got Clinton elected?

Having said that, you third-party patriots, if you feel strongly about starting a third party, go for it. You will not get any flack from me. My efforts are targeted solely on stopping Obamazilla. I only ask that you graciously accept me not wearing your t-shirt.

For crying out loud, patriots, Obama has awarded a terrorist the same legal rights as an American citizen. Reid is muscling health care through the Senate. Cap-and-trade is next on the agenda. In America, we have a “pay czar.” The list of horrors grow daily, and we patriots are fighting amongst ourselves. Please stop it. Stay focused on the real monster, the real enemy, the real threat to America: Obamazilla!

The Tea Party movement has birthed countless grassroots organizations. It is truly a wonderful thing. I find it extremely exciting that patriots all over America are fighting to defeat this monster administration and restore our great nation in their own way. I met many of these committed patriots while traveling on the national Tea Party Express II tour. Conservatives from twenty-something to eighty are running for office for the first time. Old ladies are bombarding their congressmen and senators with phone calls and letters. Everyone is doing his part.

As corny and clichéd as this sounds, it still holds true: “United we stand, divide we fall.” Let’s stand together, brothers and sisters. Let’s stand!

Farewell, Oprah: How About a Gift to Black America Before you Go?

Monday, November 23rd, 2009

I have a history with Oprah Winfrey. Back in the eighties, Oprah and I worked at WJZ-TV, an ABC affiliate TV station in Baltimore. Oprah was co-host with Richard Sher of the local morning talk show, “People Are Talking”. I was a Graphic Designer in the Creative Services/Art department.

The late famous psychic, Jeanne Dixon was a guest on our morning show. After the show, Dixon read Oprah’s palm. She predicted Oprah would achieve incredible fame some day. Dixon read my palm also and saw nothing. I am not saying psychics are real or unreal, I am simply telling a true story.

I admired Oprah because she was a ‘paradigm breaker’. According to the WJZ-TV employee rumor grapevine, certain power elites at WJZ-TV were unhappy with the hiring of Oprah. They said she was unattractive and not too bright. I love people who ignore what people say they can or cannot do. Oprah was a heavy set dark skinned black woman on TV. With the exception of playing a maid, that was unheard of in the 80s. Also, blacks on TV seemed obsessed and pressured to prove to white America they were intelligent and articulate. Oprah was confident enough to simply be herself and people gravitated to her.

Here is how Oprah got to Chicago and became, “Oprah”. “People Are Talking” associate producer, Debra DiMaio was seeking a new position at a TV station in Chicago. After reviewing DiMaio’s reel (industry term for resume video) the Chicago producers fell in love with Oprah; and the rest is history.

Upon hearing Oprah acquired a new job in Chicago, we, her fellow employees at WJZ-TV, planned a surprise going away party for Oprah. Barbara Hamm, a producer gathered footage of Oprah on air over her years at the station. I parodied the classic, “You Made Me Love You” to write a song to Oprah. News video editor Commodore Hill used footage gathered by Barbara and my Oprah song to produce a beautiful and emotional tribute farewell music video for Oprah. We played it at her farewell party. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house. It was a huge hit. Oprah wrote me the following thank you letter.

“Dear Lloyd,oprah & Lloyd

As you probably know or maybe don’t know, I am a big Diana Ross fan — when I was a little girl growing up in the ghetto with only dreams for companions — I wanted so much to be Dianna Ross or just somebody’s supreme. But I want you to know had THE Diana Ross sang the “Oprah Song” — it would not have meant as much to me as having you do it. Not only was the song beautiful but — I felt it was also sincere.

I was so moved and will never ever forget it — or you.

Just as I know that it is indeed the master’s Hand that keeps me from falling — and that he has laid his hands on me and that is why I am so blessed. I know Lloyd that you too have been “chosen”.

You’re a very special person. Your light so shines that we all can see. Thank you for your support — I know there is much joy ahead for you.

Love — Oprah”

Without question, Oprah has done tremendous good, touching the lives of millions in a positive way. And for this I salute her. Because she has such a huge heart and compassion, Oprah tends to take the emotional liberal side of issues. However, though well intentioned, ignoring reality and human nature can be extremely destructive. A common theme on Oprah’s show is everyone is a victim of somebody or something. All abusers are not the products of abuse. History proves some people are simply evil and some people are lazy losers.

And why in almost 25 years of broadcasting have we not seen one conservative, “I am not a victim of white America” black guest on the Oprah show? This is a huge disservice to black America. We blacks, I am black, are blessed to be born in the greatest land of opportunity on the planet. And yet, liberal icons are still filling the heads of black youths that they are victims of a sexist, racist and homophobic America. Despite Oprah being close to if not the richest woman in America and America electing it’s first black president, the branding of Americans as racist is stronger than ever.

So Oprah, my dear friend, I challenge you. You have announced your program will end in 2011. How about doing a wonderful thing for not just for black Americans, but all. In your remaining programs invite black conservatives to appear as guests. May I suggest a few?

Chris Gardener, whose life story is topic of the hit movie, “The Pursuit of Happyness”. Will Smith portrayed Gardener in the movie. Thomas Sowell is a brilliant American economist, social commentator, and author of dozens of books. Walter Williams is a syndicated columnist and Professor of Economics at George Mason University.

Oprah these are “non victim minded” extremely successful blacks America should meet. Who could better introduce these great black American role models than the great, one and only Oprah Winfrey?

Top Ten Reasons Black America Fears Rush Limbaugh

Friday, November 20th, 2009
I am a black man who, since 1993, has been a regular listener of the Rush Limbaugh radio program. I must caution black America. Be afraid, be very afraid of this powerful white man. Regular listening to him could be devastating to the psyche of the 96% of black Americans who voted for Obama. I have compiled the following Top Ten list of reasons why.

10. If you want to believe blacks are eternal victims in America, do not listen to Rush Limbaugh.

9. If you do not want to take responsibility for your life, do not listen to Rush Limbaugh.

8. If you are a dead beat loser who voted for Obama in hope of him redistributing what others worked for to you, do not listen to Rush Limbaugh.

7. If you believe blacks can not achieve without lowered standards and intervention by government and liberals, do not listen to Rush Limbaugh.

6. If you believe blacks who speak English correctly and are self sufficient are traitors, do not listen to Rush Limbaugh.

5. If you believe black liberal Democrats (Sharpton, Jackson, Waters & Co.) are your friends rather than your slave masters, do not listen to Rush Limbaugh.

4. If you do not believe self respect, pride and true self esteem comes from personal achievement, do not listen to Rush Limbaugh.

3. If you want to hate your country and believe it is the greatest source of evil in the world, do not listen to Rush Limbaugh.

2. If you want to believe rich white racist Republicans are burning the midnight oil thinking of ways to keep black America down, do not listen to Rush Limbaugh.

And the number one reason black America should fear regularly listening to Rush Limbaugh; they will become ditto heads.

Tea Party Express II Tour: IT’S OVER…for now!
By Lloyd Marcus

OrlandoTPXII-4My patience was short with the newspaper reporter. I am Lloyd Marcus, singer/songwriter, black conservative activist and participant on the national Tea Party Express II tour; 19 states; 40 rallies. At our final rally in Orlando, Florida, a reporter approached me. She had a “these people are a bunch of nuts” attitude and smirk on her face.

Though annoyed, I was polite and refused to answer her questions from a defensive point of view. Approximately 4000 patriots were in attendance. Despite numerous speakers who expressed valid disagreements with the Obama administration, like a pit bull, the reporter latched on to one questionable comment made by one speaker.

Orlando Performance

What so offended me was not just this reporter, but most of the liberal biased media’s campaign to portray the tea party attendees in a negative light; racists, rednecks, angry mob and just plain stupid. This arrogant reporter was the straw that broke the camel’s back. I confronted her, “Why are you totally ignoring all of the legitimate concerns of the people and focusing on one comment by one person?” Not answering my question, she scribbled on her note pad.

She walked away probably thinking I was a jerk or nut case, but I did not care. I took it personally her attempting to trash the people I have met across America and have come to love and respect. How dare she trash my family!

Folks, the Tea Party Express II Tour was my third time traveling and participating in rallies across America. I have met and embraced the American people and they me. They call me brother because we share values. They are not racists. They are hard working decent people concerned for their families, grand children and country.

Here are a few of my fondest memories.

Lloyd’s Journal: Tea Party Express II Tour

Surprisingly, most of our crowds on the Tea Party Express II Tour through small town America were a thousand plus. Our first TPX tour focused on major cities. This tour was through the heartland where diner servings were sized for Paul Bunyan. I now have a slight belly to lose.

In Cheyenne, WY, I met Smokey, a fine twenty five year old truck driver. He apologized to me for the small (300 people) crowd. Smokey said his mom downloaded the poster which he copied and posted all over town. He was frustrated the crowd was not bigger. I told Smokey, he and the organizers did a great job. Cheyenne is a small town. Most folks are at work on a Tuesday morning. Those who attended were enthusiastic and grateful. I thanked Smokey for a job well done. Smokey is symbolic of the spirit and grassroots nature of the tea party movement, everyone contributing in their own way no matter how small in their eyes.
Lloyd Marcus on Stage

The Rapid City, SD TPXII rally was held in a rodeo arena. Though the equine smell took some getting used to, our tea party team energized the crowd of 500 with an inspired and fun performance.

A big tall man, six foot something wearing a straw hat, bib overalls, flannel shirt and a ZZ Top style gray beard approached me; said his name was Norwegian Jim. The gentle giant gave me a bear hug and thanked me for what I am doing for our country. Jim confided that he had a wooden leg and was due for a new one. He said, “A new leg costs $20,000. I’m a wood carver. If Obama Care passes, I may have to carve my next leg”.

One day on the tour was particularly difficult traveling several hours on the bus with eleven people; entertainers, speakers and a photographer. We had been traveling in very close quarters for over a week with two more weeks to go. Nerves and patience were a little thin. Embarrassingly, I will admit that even I joined the chorus of complaints.

The next morning we were on the bus headed to our first rally of the day. I called the team together. “Let’s have a gratitude session”. Each person took a moment to express what the Tea Party Express tour means to them and why they are grateful to be a part of it. The session was incredibly powerful. Each person got a little emotional during their comments.

The exercise reminded us why we were graced by God to be on the bus. We were making a difference, encouraging the American people and a part of history. We were extremely grateful. Upon arriving at the rally, we gave one of our most powerful performances.

The Five Dollar Lady

Wichita, KS
– As usual, the crowd loved my performances of the “Tea Party Anthem” and “2010″.

Like every rally, I signed several autographs, posed for pictures and shook hands. I called the TPX II tour my “Million Handshake March”.

With tears in her eyes, a middle aged white woman grabbed my hand with both of hers. She pressed something in my palm. “I wish I could give more. I just want to contribute to your efforts. God bless you”. With a line building behind her, without looking, I put her gift in my pocket and continued shaking hands.

Then, a heavy gentleman who was missing his front teeth pulling up on his bicycle. “Mr. Marcus! I rode all the way across town to meet you. Thank you for your columns and for what you are doing for our country. I love you and I am praying for you. You’re my brother.” I gave my sincere white brother a hug.

Later that evening, I reached into my pocket and found a five dollar bill from the tearful woman. I got the feeling her finances were challenged which made her gift special. And why did she feel the need to give me anything? It brought to mind a woman in the Bible who humbly gave her all. Thank you Five Dollar Lady, I appreciate you.

A Great Day in Texas!

He hated it when we called him “cheese head”. Hustusa is a forty something white male who followed both of our Tea Party Express tours across America. He wore a triangle hat shaped like the cheese head hats worn by Green Bay Packer football fans. His hat read “I didn’t vote for this Obamanation” on all three sides. He also carried a tall sign and sold buttons at every rally. A general contractor by trade, Hustusa said his business phone stopped ringing the day after Obama was elected. He lost his home earlier this year.

In Amarillo TX, I met a feisty grandmother who is raising a little boy, not her own, on a widow’s income. She was definitely not infected with the entitlement mindset being spread by liberal democrats. “I never a100609 met tea party 6.jpgsked nobody for a bailout!”, she proudly told me.

At every rally, the crowds anticipated, loved and cheered my now famous trademark opening line, I am not an African-American. I am Lloyd Marcus, AMERICAN!” In Beaumont, TX, a white cowboy ( tall, lean, cowboy hat, western shirt, jeans and boots) approached me pushing a stroller with two black babies. He said, “My babies are hyphenated Americans until we get their citizenship a week from today”. He explained that he and his wife (also white) wanted children who really needed them. The couple believes God lead them to adopt their two black babies from Ethiopia. “Today they are Ethiopian-Americans. Next week, they will be Americans!”, proudly proclaimed the father. But how could such a “color blind” act of love happen? The Left says only racists attend the tea parties. “This movement is all about racists hating a black man in the White House”, says Jeanine Garofalo.

A Texas women asked me to inform America about the plight of our truckers. Her husband along with hundreds of thousands of other truckers across America have lost their jobs; hundred year old trucking companies are out of business and once thriving truck stops are half empty.

Our TPXII team heard the same concerns and felt the same emotions in every town, at every rally; fear, anger and frustration. “What can we do to stop the terrible agenda of the Obama administration?” We inspired and gave them hope assuring that “We The People” can and will save the America we know and love.

Black Conservatives

Though some may think rare as Bigfoot sightings, Black Conservatives do exist. I saw more of them on this second TPXII tour than I did on the first. Blacks in greater numbers are attending and participating in the tea party movement. In Texas, I met the conservative black woman, Mary Baker who founded 9-12moms.ning.com

Black clergy are firing up the crowds touting the virtues of God and country at tea parties. They worship Godly principles over skin color. Based on his abortion policies alone, I am still baffled as to how a Christian could reconcile voting for Obama.

I met several bright black youths who, refreshingly, were not taken in by Obama’s rock star persona. One young black man who attended a tea party had just been released from prison nine days earlier. He admitted he made wrong choices and wanted to turn his life around. He was seeking truth. I gave him an autographed copy of my friend, William Owens’ book, “Obama: Why Black America Should Have Doubts”.

William and Selena Owens are wonderful black conservative authors who traveled with me on the Tea Party Express II tour. My first book, “Confessions of a Black Conservative” will be released soon. Michelle Mulkin wrote the forward.

Kenneth Gladney traveled with us on the Tea Party Express bus. Kenneth is a black entrepreneur who became famous after being beaten by SEIU thugs (Service Employee International Union) for selling “Don’t Tread on Me” flags at a town hall meeting. The beating sent Kenneth to the emergency room. He was simply attempting to earn a living selling flags after being laid off. Liberals are quick to put independent blacks back in their place on the government dependency plantation.

On the tour, I also met young black conservatives running for political seats traditionally controlled by liberal Democrats. Yes, the times, they are a changin’. No longer are blacks sheepishly and mindlessly following the leading of so called black leaders who thrive on convincing them they are victims.

Interestingly, most of the blacks I chatted with at the tea parties were current or ex-military. They have lived around the world and realize America truly is “a shining city on a hill”. Sorry, all you globalists, but America is peerless.

Lloyd for PresidentWe blacks are blessed to live in the greatest land of opportunity on the planet. The day the majority of black Americans realize this truth is the day they can finally say, to quote MLK, “Free at last, thank God almighty, we’re free at last!” Dr. King made that statement referring to the tyranny blacks were suffering from white racism in America. He could have never imagined blacks would someday need to be freed from the tyranny of traitorous blacks and liberal whites who wish to keep them on the government plantation.

Another phenomenon I noticed while on tour is all across America citizens are running for political office for the first time.

Traveling on the Tea Party Express II Tour is an experience I will cherish for the rest of my life. Numerous people told us seeing our bus roll into town was extremely exciting and brought tears to their eyes. We represented hope!

To pass the long hours riding on the bus, our team watched the DVD of the HBO John Adams series. Like our founding fathers, our team feels we too are patriots fighting for freedom, liberty and preserving our Constitution. My heart was stolen by the great American people. As God gives me strength, I will continue fighting for them. Stay tuned for Tea Party Express III.

God Bless.

Tea Party Express Tour II: The Five Dollar Lady

Thursday, November 5th, 2009

Nov.4th, Wichita, KS – The crowd of about thousand applauded greatly for my performances of the “Tea Party Anthem” and “2010”. After the rally, I was scheduled to leave my bus tour family for a day to fly to Washington DC. I had been asked to sing “God Bless America” at a huge rally protesting the latest health care nightmare bill at the U.S. Capitol.

At the Wichita rally a gentlemen and his wife offered to give us a ride to the airport in their pick up truck; Amy Kremer, founder of Tea Party Patriots, Deborah Johns, spokesperson for Tea Party Express and myself.

Like every rally, I signed several autographs, posed for pictures and shook hands. I call the tour my “Million Handshake March”.

With tears in her eyes, a middle aged white woman grabbed my hand with both of hers. She pressed something in my palm. “I wish I could give more. I just want to contribute to your efforts. God bless you”. With a line building behind her, without looking, I put her gift in my vest pocket and continued shaking hands.

Excuse me Lloyd, but we have to get you to the airport”, said Jimmy, our bus manager.

Then, a heavy gentleman who was missing his front teeth pulling up on his bicycle. “Mr. Marcus! I rode all the way across town to meet you. Thank you for your columns and for what you are doing for our country. I love you and I am praying for you. You’re my brother.”

I give my sincere white brother a hug, got in the pick up truck and rode to the airport to catch my flight to Washington, DC.

I only mention race because I am black. The Obama administration and mainstream media continues to shamefully portray the tea party protesters as racists.

On the plane, I reached into my pocket and found a five dollar bill. It was from the tearful woman in Wichita. I got the feeling that given her financial situation, it was a huge gift. And why did she feel the need to give me anything? I thought of the woman in the Bible, who also gave in her own humble way. Thank you very much, my Five Dollar Lady.

Approached by a Leftist at Tea Party Express Rally

Thursday, November 5th, 2009

This was classic. About a thousand enthusiastic patriots showed up for our rally in Fort Collins, CO. They loved my performance singing my “Tea Party Anthem” and “2010”. Fans of my articles on the internet were also in the crowd. Some drove hours to meet me. I signed numerous autographs and posed for pictures with my patriot brothers and sisters.
Lloyd in Dallas

A white guy approached me and said, “You’re the only black here (which was not true). Why don’t you come to our democrat rallies where there are many blacks and more tolerant people”. I could not respond because I was due back on stage.
If I had time, I would have said, “No thanks. I don’t want to hang out with a bunch brainwashed blacks convinced by liberal democrats that they are victims”. And what the heck did this guy mean by “more tolerant people”? This is my second tour traveling across America on the Tea Party Express. At every rally, the mostly white audiences embrace me, a black man, as a brother. Why? Because unlike the liberals who think everything is about race, the American people care about shared values and principles.

I am so sick of the Left getting away with branding us Conservatives “intolerant”. Talk about the pot calling the kettle black, the Left is totally intolerant of opposing thought.

I recently received an email from the father of Kristen Campbell. Kristen is a high school student whose article disagreeing with Mrs. Obama was published in her school newspaper. Outrageously, this brilliant student was physically attacked with a knife and verbally abused by many in her community. To her credit, this courageous kid stood by her article.

Books! During this first week and a half of the Tea Party Express tour, several first time authors have honored me with copies of their self published books. Their motivations were the same. “I was feeling frustrated with the way our country is going and wanted to do something!” Folks, I LOVE the fact people across America are contributing to the movement in their own ways; totally passion and concern driven grassroots.

Interesting point. A few blacks are in attendance at every rally. Every black I have chatted with is retired military. They have fought for and served our country. They have traveled and lived abroad. They love America, realize its unique greatest and do not want to see it changed. It was truly refreshing speaking with fellow blacks uninfected with the Lefts’ “America Sucks/ Blacks Are Victims” disease.

For the grand finale of the Fort Collins,CO rally, our team sang “God Bless the USA”. Earlier while mingling in crowd, I met a German guy who told me he was a new American. He said taking the oath of citizenship was very moving. I shared his story with the audience and invited the new proud American on stage as we sang, “…and I’m proud to be an American, where at least I know I’m free. And I won’t forget the men who died, who gave that right to me. And I gladly stand up, next to you and defend her still today. Cause there ain’t no doubt I love this land…God Bless the USA!”

The crowd cheered and loved their new fellow American brother. Very cool.

High School Student in Danger for Disagreeing with Obama

Thursday, November 5th, 2009

A high percentage of Americans believed race relations would improve with the election of America’s first black president. Today, that percentage has dropped dramatically. Could it be because the Obama administration, at every turn, has shamelessly exploited race to further its agenda?

The message of the liberal media/Obama administration tag team comes across loud and clear. If you disagree with Obama, we will brand you a racist and we will hurt you. If this administration was made into a movie it should be titled, “Mr. Chicago Thug Goes to Washington”. Bullying (banks, the auto industry, insurance companies, national Chamber of Commerce, doctors, Fox News and more) appears to come quite naturally to the Obama administration.

The late great Mary Kay Ash said, “The speed of the leader is the speed of the gang”. In other words leadership comes from the top down. When SEIU (Service Employees International Union) thugs attacked and beat a black conservative for selling “Don’t Tread On Me” flags at a town hall meeting, I believe the thugs felt Obama would approve. Some believe the thugs acted on orders. Folks, they put Kenneth Gladney, a kind and gentle man in the hospital. Kenneth had been laid off his job. He was selling Gadsden Flags simply attempting to earn a living while spreading his belief in conservative principles.

As I said, leadership comes from the top down. I wonder what kind of subliminal message the Obama administration is sending to our kids. I received a letter from the father of a brilliant high school student who dared to write an editorial in her high school newspaper disagreeing with Mrs. Obama. The local Obama supporters reaction to this kid’s article is unbelievable, outrageous, over the top and un-American. Their reaction epitomizes the “we’re gonna get you” gang mindset and thug aura emanating from the Obama administration. This kid was branded a racist and physically threatened.

Ladies and gentlemen, I proudly introduce to you courageous high school student, Kristen Campbell. Here is her dad’s letter which he gave me permission to share publicly.

Hi Lloyd,
Kristen wrote this editorial (No thanks, Mrs. Obama ..) for her high school newspaper in February of this year. After the article was published, she underwent attacks from African-American students, parents, local church groups, and members of the community. She was called a racist, threatened with a knife, attacked verbally and physically in the hallways at school, and her vehicle tires were slashed in the school parking lot. Members of some local minority organizations even met to discuss how to retaliate against her and a boycott of her school newspaper was launched.

Some parents and grandparents asked the school administration to censor her work so that she would be unable to publish controversial editorials in the future, but Kristen went before the administration and stood her ground. Because of her determination, the administration agreed not to censor her work and to allow her to continue to publish editorials without approval from the principal or school board.

Since then, she has written other conservative editorials and is still getting some resistance from the student body. But she has not backed down.

Since then she gave a follow up speech (Protecting the Pie)
on the subject at a state-level 4-H event and at a meeting of the Choctaw Co. Republican Party.

She is passionate about what she believes and is eager and ready to speak anytime she is asked. She is hard-hitting and doesn’t mince words. We are very proud of her as you can imagine!
Looking forward to seeing you in Jackson (Tea Party Express rally) on the 8th.”
Tommy and Dee Ann Campbell

Folks, doesn’t this young lady remind you of another gutsy and great conservative woman from Alaska? I am extremely proud of Kristen. I reminded Kristen that eagles fly alone. Without question, Kristen Campbell is an eagle. We need more Americans, businesses and institutions to show the same courage and backbone as this high school student.

It is time to say “NO!” to the Obama administration. We will be not be silenced. We will not be bullied. We will vote you out in 2010!

LIVE from Aboard the Tea Party Express II: Lloyd Marcus

Sunday, November 1st, 2009

I’m going to let the cat out of the bag. I confess. The bulk of the folks attending the Tea Parties across America are good old fashion God fearing Christians. They work hard, love their families and their country. If they are racist, you can not prove it by me.

I’m traveling across America on Tea Party Express II. The mostly white audiences at every rally embrace me with open arms, especially after hearing me proclaim myself to be an American rather than a politically correct hyphenated African American. These people love me and call me brother because we share a love for our country and the principles which have made her great. At every rally, I feel like I am with family.
TPE Lloyd Marcus & Lil One cropped 400

Countless numbers of attendees have told me they are praying for me. Somehow, I don’t think you would hear such a comment at rallies hosted by the Left. Rallies hosted by the Left display very few, if any, America flags. Nor would they ever consider honoring our troops. Our Tea Party Express rallies enjoy a sea of American flags. We also feature a tremendously moving tribute to our veterans, active troops and their families at every rally.

In every city, we ( the Tea Party Express team) hear anger, stories of financial suffering and fear of the Obama administration. Many, especially the senior Americans and elderly immigrants who have lived under tyranny, are heartbroken over the Obama administration’s disdain for our Constitution and race to socialism.

Our mission on the Tea Party Express is to give hope and inspire these patriots to fight back. And they are fighting back Big Time; everyone in their own small or large way.

A 74 year old woman has just begun writing a week conservative column in her local newspaper. An elderly gentleman has launched an organization to fight corrupt politicians. He currently has two members. Large numbers of first timer conservative candidates for political office are spouting up all over the country. Moms across America are organizing to restore and preserve conservative values for their kids. Thousands are writing hand written letters to Washington.

An elder gentleman who survived Cancer four times told me, “My time is about over. I joined the Tea Party Movement for my grandchildren.”

At our Tea Party Express rally in Carson City, NV, it was freezing cold. Still, hundreds showed up. A gentleman gave free cups of coffee to everyone. His coffee machine was powered by a generator. Again, there was that feeling of family; we’re all in this together.

In Portland, OR, the hall where we held our Tea Party Express rally was packed with 3000 patriots with another 1000 outside. Everyone was polite and united in our cause; Take Back America!

Folks, this movement is totally passion driven. No political party, marketing firm or single organization could have started and sustained it. People have begun to realize America made a huge mistake electing Barack Hussein Obama. Despite being ignored by most of the main stream media, the Tea Party Movement is growing.

All of the speakers and performers on the Tea Party Express have received threats and hate mail. The Left knows we are inspiring and energizing the patriots. They want to shut us up. I am extremely proud to be numbered amoungst this great team of patriots committed to God and country.

At every rally I perform my original,”American Tea Party Anthem”. Then I sing my parody to the song, “New York, New York” titled, “2010”. To make it fun, I ask a dozen ladies from the audience to come on stage. The sound man hits the music and the women instinctively form a chorus line. The audience goes crazy when I sing the lyrics, “We’re gonna vote them out…and Take Back America in 2010.”

The first Tea Party Express tour focused on the big cities major markets. This second tour is through the heart land small towns. Still, the crowds have been surprisingly large. People are desperate. They need hope. Somehow, we feel our purpose is stronger and more important than our first tour.
If has been difficult and uncomfortable. And yet, we feel honored to do it; traveling, meeting, inspiring and bringing hope to our brother and sister patriots across America. We truly are all in this together.

God Bless!
