At a tea party in Lakewood Ranch Florida, I invited all veterans to join me on stage as I sang “God Bless the USA” in tribute to them. It was truly a moving experience. Veterans, old, young and active service men and women came forward. The audience applauded wildly expressing their love for them. Such tributes NEVER happen at left wing secular progressive events. Their goal is ALWAYS about tearing down America, as opposed to Celebrating America, which is what I do  in my original song, “Celebrate America”.

Regarding the “hyphenated American issue”. I begin every rally/tea party with, “I am NOT an African-American! I am Lloyd Marcus…AMERICAN!!!” I am stunned by how powerful this proclamation has been with audiences. It really strikes an emotional chord. People come with tears in their eyes to thank me. These patriots crave unity as Americans. They say it is fine to honor one’s heritage but, first and foremost, we should be Americans embracing our traditions, language and culture.

Frances Rice, Chairman, National Black Republican Association (NBRA.info) gave an amazing, passionate and informative speech at the Lakewood Tea Party. Sadly, most blacks who are enslaved on the liberal plantation will never hear Rice’s powerful reasons for blacks to vote differently. Frances with her passion, facts and figures, and I, with my singing, humor and heartfelt appeal, would be a GREAT tag team at events targeted to getting the TRUTH to black Americans.

As singer/songwriter of the “American Tea Party Anthem” which I have performed at tea parties around the U.S., only Bill Hemmer on Fox News has interviewed me. Hannity aired my anthem April 15^th on his program without showing my black face. Meanwhile, Garafalo gets away with saying the tea parties are only white tea bagging redneck racists. I’m the black elephant in the middle of the tea party movement living room ignored by the MAJOR conservative media.

I sincerely appreciate and thank God for the bloggers, radio and conservative websites. You guys have embraced me and my music. But, to most of America, black conservatives are as rare as Bigfoot sightings.

Frustrated, I keeping asking, why aren’t strong conservatives like Frances Rice, myself and others supported and featured on Hannity, Beck, Rush and others. Black conservatives are crucified by the left and ignored by the right. We will keep fighting the ‘good fight’ because we are God ordained to do so. As the famous line in the Blues Brothers movie, “We’re on a mission from God!” It’s in out hearts. But candidly, WE NEED HELP! God bless, Lloyd

A concerned patriot wrote me the following. “...our Tea Party effortsare taking a weird turn. As you know the April 15^th nationwide rallies were a BIG success! The issues were Runaway Federal Spending and lack of primarily, the Federal Government doing what is best for the people.…
we are receiving direction to turn our focus to the Local Cities, Counties, and School Boards and not to focus on National issues.
This is not what started the Tea Parties and in my opinion is not where we should be going as a “Grassroots” group.”

The following is my reply.
There is a saying that “all politics are local”. In other words, national change starts at the local level. However, I don’t believe national issues should be ignored. WE NEED TO FIGHT ON BOTH LEVELS! Also, I believe in following YOUR passion or calling. If national issues are your hot button, I believe that is where your efforts should go.

This incredible Tea Party Movement began by one man’s passion, Rick Santelli, igniting the passion of millions. It is impossible to get everyone on the same page. Bottom line, people are FIRED UP TO MAKE CHANGE (local & national). And that is a VERY GOOD THING!

For example, I have heard criticism of the folks pursuing the issue of Obama’s eligibility to even be president, him not producing a birth certificate and etc. Critics say, “It’s a lost cause and a waste of time”. Well quite frankly, I have little respect for folks who give up simply because others disapprove or “don’t get it”. People called Dr Robert Schuller crazy when he said he wanted to build a glass building in earthquake country. Today, the Crystal Cathedral is one of the wonders of the world. To the folks passionate about this issue, I say, “Go For It!”

Folks, we are all on the same team. Let’s not allow turf wars or petty disagreements to distract us from our ultimate goal to Take Back America! Patriots are needed in all areas. We are blessed with great minds on our side. If each person follows their gifts and passion, stay respectful and united, WE WILL WIN! We The People! God bless, Lloyd

Friends invited Mary and I to spend Father’s Day with them at Disney. Upon our return home that evening, my 82 year old dad called. He said, “I am now ready to go home to be with the Lord, Jerry preacher the Father’s Day sermon today”! Dad proudly added, “He hit a home run”!

Jerry is one of my middle brothers. I’m the oldest. Then, there is Gloria, Jerry, David and Allen.

Two years ago, we were all extremely concerned for Jerry; alcoholism, depression and even possible suicide. We have all gone through our “stuff”. I struggled with alcoholism for 19 years. I’ve been sober over 20 years, thus far. But, dad told me when we were born, he prayed over each of us, “Lord, if this child is going to die and go to hell, take it now”.

This has been a banner year for the Marcus family. My brother David won “Coach of The Year”. Allen won “Police Officer of the Year”. I’m having an awesome year traveling all over the country speaking and performing my “American Tea Party Anthem”. And, Father’s Day 2009, Jerry preached. I have shared with you that in the early fifties when dad broke the color barrier into the Baltimore Fire dept, despite racism and horrendous treatment, dad won “Firefighter of the Year” two times.

These Marcus family blessings testify to the influence of my dad and mom on our lives and the faithfulness of God. Happy Father’s Day dad, you richly deserve it!

“GOP” was the first thing out of EVERY reporter’s mouth regarding a recent sex scandal. And yet, when married democrat Gov. Eliot Spitzer used a prostitute and was investigated for his link to a prostitution ring, I had to do a Google search to discover Spitzer’s political party. This is typical “give the left a pass” bias reporting. But when a conservative has a human failure, the media has to restrain themselves from dancing in the streets.

Remember when democrat congressman William Jefferson, Louisiana, used the national guard troops to take him home to retrieve suspected bribe money from his freezer, while hurricane Katrina victims waited on rooftops to be rescued? The media NEVER mentioned Jefferson’s party. Instead, disgustingly, they chose to rally around an idiot race baiting rapper, Kanye West, who said, “Katrina aid was slow because Bush hates black people”.

Why is the media thrilled when conservatives and/or republicans morally fail. The mostly secular progressive anti-God media hates moral standards. They try to shut up conservatives by saying, “If you stand for moral standards and fail, you are a hypocrite and have no right to speak.” This is nonsense. Jesus said, “ALL have sinned and come short…”

The “Hypocrisy” card is simply another in the secular progressive deck, along with the old and tattered “Race” and “Class Envy” cards, proven to be winners for the left.

Don’t fall for it folks. And don’t immediately throw our people under the bus every time a conservative fails. Am I saying to ignore corruption and egregious character flaws? Absolutely NOT. THAT’S WHAT THE LEFT DOES! I’m saying don’t expect everyone on our side to walk on water. We are at war for our freedom, liberty and culture. Let’s not give aid and comfort to the enemy by executing our generals.

I still remember the knot in my stomach upon seeing the sea of white faces from the window of our school bus. It was the first day of school 1961. We came from a neighboring black community, about a hundred or so of us, to the newly integrated white Jr/Sr high school with thousands of students.

Everything intimidated me, the massive school building, being around whites for the first time, feeling small, seventh grade school work (would I measure up) and my stutter.

The night before, I shared my fears with my preacher dad. Dad gave his typical answer, “Trust God”.

Someone grabbed me from behind. It was an angry older white teacher with a crew cut. He spun me around and almost pressed his wart-covered nose against mine. In my haste to find my homeroom, I went the wrong way on the stairs. Stammering and scared, I tried to explain that I was lost. But he refused to listen and carted me off to the principle’s office. There I sat on my first day, a ‘problem kid’ and late for homeroom.

However, things did get better. Mr. Gomer, my art teacher and Ms. Hornet, my English/creative writing teacher recognized my talents and nurtured them. Still, I felt pretty invisible at Brooklyn Park Jr/Sr High in Maryland.

The popular black students in the mostly white school were athletically and/or academically gifted. I was neither.

Then something wonderful happened. Every month, the best four art pieces from the entire school art classes were displayed in the lobby. My paintings were selected numerous times. This was not Affirmative Action. My paintings were displayed solely based on merit.

This achievement helped me to realize I had talent. It dramatically impacted my self esteem and life. I won scholarships to art college and enjoyed an award winning career as a television Graphic Designer.

But what if my school had embraced a liberal mindset so prevalent today? “EVERY child should experience the feeling of having their artwork displayed in the lobby. It’s only fair”. If every student’s artwork was displayed, it would have robbed me of the knowledge that I possessed above average artistic talent.

Liberals frown upon individual achievement. I heard a news story about a kid banned from Little League pitching because he threw TOO hard. Rather than welcoming an opportunity to raise the game of the batters, Liberals chose to force the gifted pitcher to lower his game. Many schools even ban the keeping of score at sporting events. Typical, touchy, feel-ly, let’s not cause anyone to feel bad, liberalism.

God forbid kids learn that sometimes you win, sometimes you lose and these experiences make you stronger! It’s called life! It’s how we grow. Without failure, you would never experience the joy of success.

Some of you may be thinking, “Why is Lloyd always ranting about liberalism”? Folks, I have witnessed the devastating effect of liberalism in my own family. A forty something drug addicted cousin is a serial “impregnater” with several out of wedlock children. And yet, he enjoys a new townhouse, food stamps, free health care and methadone all funded by working taxpayers. In essence, the government is enabling and funding my cousin’s irresponsible lifestyle.

American taxpayers are extremely generous, sympathetic and more than willing to help those in need of a hand up. But liberal “cradle to grave government dependency” programs kill incentive and ultimately hurts people.

Here is another example of how touchy feel-ly liberalism overrules common sense and what is best for people. Without question, to move economically forward in America, it is most beneficial to speak English. Those who do not are stifled and stuck in minimum wage jobs. And yet, ANY politician courageous enough to merely suggest that immigrants learn English is crucified for racism. This is crazy!

Meanwhile, frustratingly, Conservatism gets the bad press branded as mean and heartless.

Conservatism 101: A Tale of Two Dads by Lloyd Marcus. Little Johnny hates school and does NOT want to attend. Liberal dad says, “I know how you feel. I hated school also. There are bullies, kids who think they’re hot stuff and it is just too HARD! You can sleep as long as you like”.

Conservative dad says, “Jonathan Matthews (and his last name) you get your rear end out of that bed this instant and off to school. Why? Because I SAID SO and it is best for your future! And also, because I LOVE YOU!”

I was recently in Texas performing at the America’s Awakening rally. While waiting for my wife, I wondered into the hotel pub. It was Lady’s Night. A cowboy practically had a line of women waiting to dance with him. He held them firm, but gentle. He confidently lead and they gleefully followed. Each knowing she was in good hands. I, along with others, by the looks on their faces, thoroughly enjoyed watching him dance with the women. Why did we enjoy it? It represented the way men should be and how women want them to be.
Nina May, a dear friend and brilliant movie producer wrote an awesome article about how chivalry is dead. Nina says we conservative men should be p-oed and defending our conservative women. She is talking about the vile attacks on Sarah Palin, her 14 year old daughter, Michelle Malkin and others. Nina’s words hit me between the eyes. Or, should I say (please don’t think me crude) between the legs.

I agree with my sister 100%. It’s time for us conservative guys to start acting like men and standing up for our women folk (a little cowboy lingo). I feel my testosterone kicking in.

Male Chauvinism Epidemic Suggests Chivalry is Dead

There was a time in our country when a woman had gallant men riding in to defend her honor. Since the failed feminist movement has destroyed these pedestals of virtue and reduced women to nothing more than dim reflections of the boorish men they seek to emulate, it is no surprise that chivalry has experienced societal obsolescence. Otherwise, we would be seeing the husbands, brothers, fathers, and sons of dishonored women rising up in righteous indignation, and just pure justified anger, at the way their wives, sisters, daughters and mothers are being treated by the current crop of cads.

When Hugh Hefner’s misogynist, exploitive website posted a list of 10 conservative women who should be graphically raped for a variety of reasons, there was no outrage by family members of these defiled, innocent victims of a potential hate crime. There was no outrage by a complacent society that has been convinced, once again, that we live in a divided society where some are more worthy than others.

These chauvinists today are the same self-absorbed elitists who fought a war to keep a segment of society in bondage. They are the same early chauvinists who fought to keep women from voting seeing them as less worthy than men. These are the ones who embraced Margaret Sanger, the mother of Planned Parenthood, who had as her life mission, destroying the lives of those she felt were less than human, less than perfect, less than worthy of the protection of the law.

These are the ones who honor an abortion doctor who has committed murder for money, while dishonoring and debasing a young woman, Bristol Palin, who chooses to give life to the consequences of her choices in life. While calling her a hypocrite, they don’t seem to understand that her decision to give birth to her child, while robbing an abortionist of a paying client, a ctually represented exactly what her values are. When she speaks now about abstinence, it is from a position of someone who wasn’t, and who understands the consequences of sexual activity out of wedlock.

This blatant misogyny and anti-women hatred has taken on an unusual twist that tries to justify the boorish behavior by men suggesting that two men together are more worthy than one conservative woman on her own. White males who exploit and destroy women’s lives like Hugh Hefner, or have a platform of denigration, like David Letterman, are the standard bearers and water carriers for the truest chauvinistic behavior which relegates women to second class citizen, not even valued for intimacy or conjugal relations. They are called “dumb bitches” by men who fancy themselves as bitches in a male dominated society.

What is the purpose of women? Is it to satisfy the lustful fantasies of dirty, pitiful old men like Hugh Hefner? Is it to supply a cheap, unfunny laugh line for an old man who has lost his edge and has to suggest that raping a 14 year old, or an 18 year old, innocent girl is funny? Is it to just be beautiful, wear a crown and keep your pretty little mouth shut? Is it to become politically active and accepted ONLY if you espouse one set of beliefs over another, and if you don’t, you are referred to as a “slutty airline hostess”? Men have denigrated women to the point where two men think that their anatomy is the equivalent of a woman’s and choose that option to the real thing because women, in their eyes, are not worthy of intimacy. Two percent of the population, claiming to be the victims of societal victimization, are the ones who have the power to punish women, like Carrie Prejean, who express a different opinion.

If the men whose loved ones have been dishonored, won’t call these cads out, then perhaps the women should. In the old days, it was a duel to the death. These cowards would soil themselves if they had to face real women, who scare them so much, they have to threaten them from inaccessible, safe positions because they know these strong women would rip these small-minded, immature, pathetic men a new one.

With women as 51% of the population, whether they are conservative or liberal, they need to realize that this wave of anti-women sentiment sweeping the nation will not stop and ask about party affiliation. All women will be exploited, marginalized, demonized, perverted and destroyed. If the self-proclaimed “feminists” remain silent on this continued abuse of conservative women, they are as guilty as the men who fantasize about raping women because of what they believe. Do they really think they will escape a society destined to destroy all contrary thought?

When Betty Freidan wrote her book, “The Feminine Mystique,” she was a frustrated “house wife” who was bored of playing tennis and living a protected, pampered life, so20she tried to drive a spike into the heart of chivalry while ushering in the debasement of women. As we survey the landscape of ruined lives, aborted babies, exploited and dehumanized women who have been placed on a plantation of politically correct oppression, monitored by men who applaud the misogyny of feminism, we realize her book should have been named, “The Feminist Mistake.”

It is time for a REAL feminist movement that is not a self-absorbed, shallow, destructive reflection of how boorish men treat strong women. Real feminists should call these cowards out, challenge them to a duel and kick their pathetic, collective butts. Then they should challenge every single man who stood silently by as this abuse continued. Then they need to unseat every entrenched politician who has turned a blind eye to this abuse that has been allowed to continue, claiming millions of victims every year. This is the time for REAL femin ism if there ever was a time. And if chivalry isn’t dead, it better wake up.

Hi Folks, Proud black conservative, Lloyd Marcus here. I’m in Fort Worth, Texas speaking and singing at the America’s Awakening rally tonight. Recently, I jokingly gave my white fellow patriots permission to speak the truth regarding the Obama administration.

Tonight, I will share my story of why I chose conservatism over liberalism. I will also encourage my white fellow patriots to speak out against the power grabbing control freak, King Obama. His color trumps EVERYTHING! No white president could get away with what Obama is doing.

Like sharks with the smell of blood in the water, the media is all over the Holocaust Museum shooting trying to portray the shooter as a right wing nut birthed from conservatives speaking out.

WRONG! This guy is a left wing hate-filled nut case. The left leaning bias media wants to use this tragedy to shut us up; to make us afraid to speak out against an out of control radical agenda administration. Please, please, please do not fall for it, for the sake of our children!

They crucified Rush Limbaugh for saying he hoped Obama’s radical agenda fails. Well, hang this proud black, America loving, conservative right beside Rush. Because, I too, hope this president’s anti-American agenda fails. SPEAK OUT, MY BROTHERS & SISTER’S…SPEAK OUT!!!
