I think there is some self hate here. Do you realize that most minorities don’t collect welfare and there are quite a few whites on welfare. What about how your conservative buddies treated that black woman at the RNC or at CPAC. You only write these articles to get cozy with people on the right who tend to be bigoted. You make them feel okay with their bigotry. A lot of the oposition of Obama is racist. Look at how your right wing buddies said during the beginning of trayvon shooting.
When has the left ever said disagreeing with minorities makes you a racist? When did they say minorities aren’t responsible for their actions? Look at the war on drugs, all they do is target blacks even though they are only 14% of all users in this nation. Whites consume so many drugs but aren’t arrested for it. They are given a slap on the wrist no matter what.

Mr. Marcus,
I am a “respectable” white woman from the South. What would I do and/or think if my only daughter were to walk through my front door with you on her arm and announced her plans to marry you? I would immediately fall down on my knees and thank the Good Lord Above that He has given me a daughter who has the wisdom to recognize a good man who loves his country, and a man whom she chose by the content of his character rather than by the color of his skin. Further, I’d be plenty proud to have our genes mixing with those of Lloyd Marcus; I am certain of that. I AM confused about one thing, though. Am I a racist because I do not approve of Mr. Obama’s political agenda?

I recently found out from a child that I am a racist.

I am all broken up about this… on the inside.

Anyone who believes these marxists do not intend to destroy this country and all it stands for are simply idiots. Race has nothing to do with their tactics… just a useful element.

I’d like to ask the granddaughter whether she thinks the root cause of all the squawking about same-sex marriage is fair. That cause is that many benefits, such as the right to have someone you trust sit with you at night if you’re in the hospital, are denied to unmarried people. (Or, in that particular case, to people whose spouses are also ill or disabled.) Is Granddaughter thinking about people she knows, or just parroting the noise she hears on TV? If the former, she should be defending ALL people’s rights to choose their own heirs and caretakers. Maybe 1% of humankind will ever have a use for same-sex marriage but you have to figure that at least 50% of humankind will eventually be either bachelors or widows, and we need our human rights too.
