The Bible says, “I have seen the wicked in great power, and spreading himself like a green bay tree” (Psalms 37:35). A classic scenario is evil appearing to be all powerful only to be defeated. Wow, what an accurate description of the collapsing Obama administration.

The Obama regime had all the power, the White House, a majority in the House and the Senate. Team Obama owns the liberal media. Because the media selected him, they have a vested interest in protecting his presidency. Obama also had the American people in his corner; youths considered him a rock star, blacks saw Obama as their Great Black Hope and naïve whites thought casting their vote for a black guy would finally put an end to them being called racist.

Our master of deception president accuses republicans of standing in the way of his government run health care plan. While in reality, the republicans do not have enough votes to stop any item on Obama’s unprecedented far left radical agenda. Obama believed he could silence all descent from “we the people” by playing the race card. Yes, Obama, the all powerful, seemed unstoppable. Who could have ever predicted that the weight of Obama’s own arrogance would trigger his demise? Ego is Obama’s Achilles’ heel.

Almost from day one, Obama began usurping unconstitutional power; nationalizing banks and the auto industry. While deceitfully preaching unity, Obama was like the guy in cowboy movies who stands on the steps of the jail house. He masterfully works the crowd into a frenzy and demands that they drag out the accused prisoner and hang him. This is what Obama did to corporate executives, CEOs and anyone who opposed his agenda. It is not unfair to suggest that the SEIU (Service Employees International Union) thugs who beat up a black conservative at a town hall meeting were inspired by Obama’s orders for his supporters to attack his opposition by “hitting back harder”. Obama’s posse.

In President Obama, I see a bully. During his State of the Union Address, Obama used his, pardon the pun, “bully pulpit” to bully the free market, banks, insurance companies, republicans and even the supreme court. Obama governs the Chicago way; no compromise, simply destroy your opponent. “Mr Thug Goes to Washington” would be the perfect title of a movie about his reign.

Leadership emanates from the top down. Mary Kay of MK Cosmetics said, “The speed of the leader is the speed of the gang”. Obama’s number one and two enforcers, Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi equal, if not surpass, his unbelievable arrogance. At town hall meetings across America, “we the people” passionately said “no” to government run health care. As an exclamation point to our national, “no”, 1.7 million protesters showed up in Washington DC. Unbelievably, the Reid/Pelosi tag team are still conniving and scheming to force Obama Care down our throats. Remarkably arrogant.

While the Obama regime appeared powerful, unstoppable and spreading “like a green bay tree”, a change was happening across America. Americans were awakening from their Night of the Living Dead Obama zombie trance. His speeches were no longer heard as the voice of a messiah.

Republican Scott Brown’s shocking win in Massachusetts confirmed that Obama’s spell had been broken. Even after Obama’s emergency visit, the Senate seat owned by democrats for almost half a century was lost; a devastating affirmation of Obama’s declining power.

But who is responsible for the fall of the “chosen one”? Not the republicans. While the Tea Party movement has played an extremely vital role, Obama’s biggest problem has been his arrogance and his ego. Contemptuously, Obama believes he can use America’s ignorance of history and the facts, his presumed superior intellect and amazing oratorical skills to ignore the Constitution and the will of the American people. Obama arrogantly remains relentless in his quest to implement his rejected overreaching agenda.

I have received gloom and doom emails saying, “Lloyd, you tea party folks are just wasting your time. Our government is corrupt and nothing will change it”. My response, “So, your solution is we sit on our hands and do nothing. Thanks for sharing”.

Despite our big bad president’s continued huffing and puffing and threats to blow America’s house down, his power is rapidly declining. This is why when confronting evil, one should never give up. Keep moving forward, fighting the good fight and doing what makes sense and feels right to do. You never know what tomorrow may bring. In politics, as in life, things can change on a dime.

A month ago, freedom and liberty were on life support. Obama’s government run health care, cap and trade and the rest of his socialistic agenda appeared to be unstoppable “done deals”.

Today, Obama’s promise to “fundamentally transform America” appears to be down for the count. This makes me feel like singing, “The sun will come out tomorrow, bet your bottom dollar that tomorrow there’ll be sun…”

I’ve often said jokingly that Black History Month should more accurately be called “white people and America suck” month. Rather than focusing on all of black history, every February the liberal media and most democrats gleefully bring up all of America’s past sins. Fine. I mean after all, it is a part of history. But what is so wrong is these race exploiters imply that current race relations in America have not come very far from the days of blacks being lynched. Thus, Black History Month in reality is the liberal democrat’s annual fund raiser and promo campaign for more entitlement programs.

American blacks have achieved amazing things under extraordinary circumstances; most of which could not have happened without the assistance of good decent God fearing whites. But we never hear about these white “good guys”.

At age 12, George Washington Carver witnessed the hanging and burning of a fellow black male by the KKK. Carver never forgot it. As a young man, a white family saw Carver’s potential and encouraged him to apply to attend a white college. In 1890 Carver was accepted at Simpson College in Indianola, Iowa. Due to Carver’s character and brilliance in art, music and science, he won the respect of the faculty and his fellow students. A white teacher suggested Carver focus his career toward horticulture. Carver followed her advice. The teacher introduced Carver to her father who was a doctor. With the doctor’s endorsement, Carver became the first and only black student at Iowa Agricultural College in Ames, Iowa. Again, Carver was extremely active and popular. A new white student objected to Carver eating in the dining hall. The new student was shocked when all the students rejected him and rallied around Carver.

This incident confirms my belief. Yes, there are evil knuckleheads in the world. But when you do the right things, decent people will rally around you. George Washington Carver went on to become a great humanitarian and a world renowned scientist. Carver’s achievements were extraordinary.

As a child, Carver had witnessed the worst behavior by whites, the murder and desecration of a human being by the KKK. And yet, as an adult the generosity, kindness and encouragement of whites enabled Carver to bring his amazing discoveries to the world.

During slavery it was illegal to teach blacks to read. And yet, whites did educate blacks because they knew it was the right thing to do. The Civil War was fought and the Republican party was founded with the liberation of blacks as a major issue.

Every Black History Month we are bombarded with specials showcasing white America’s history of persecuting blacks while totally ignoring the history of white blood, sweat and tears shed for blacks. It appears that all black achievement was made in spite of and without any help from racist white America.

As long as race exploitation is a profitable industry, America will never be allowed “off the hook”. Outrageously, the Obama administration called the same white majority who elected him racist for rejecting his government run health care plan. Race exploiters will never retire the Race Card. Race profiteers say, “Ah, it’s my favorite time of the year, Black History Month. Time to convince America that they owe us and hit them up for more freebies!”

I would love to see a more fair and balanced celebration of Black History Month. Make it more focused on black achievements and less about victim-hood-ism. Kids need to learn more about hard working self reliant blacks such as Booker T. Washington who in 1881 founded the Tuskegee Institute in Alabama. Washington encouraged blacks to be entrepreneurs.

Before the 1920’s, Madame C. J. Walker started out as a poor little black girl, orphaned, abused, and uneducated early on in life. Walker started her own business of manufacturing hair goods and preparations and became a millionaire. Her motto was only one-self can help themselves to get where they want to be. “…if I have accomplished anything in life it is because I have been willing to work hard.” said Walker.

With Walker becoming a millionaire at a time when America truly was racist and sexist, how can modern day blacks justify having a victim and entitlement mindset.

In fairness, Carver, Washington and Walker are featured during Black History Month in classrooms and the media. But it is not mentioned that the success of these outstanding Americans is testimony of the greatness of our country. I am simply saying Black History Month should not be used for extortion, an occasion to portray white America as villains and to lay a “guilt trip” on them.

You just gotta love the spine of Rush Limbaugh. Truth can be hard. While I would like to give Rush credit for always dealing with topics truthfully regardless of the consequences, I believe Rush’s DNA prevents him from dealing with them otherwise.

From Rush’s cautioning of conservatives not to jump on the Ross Perot bandwagon to commenting on the media’s unrealistic portrayal of Donovan McNabb, telling the truth has gotten Rush in trouble.

Rush’s most recent offense of ‘truth telling’ is his analysis of the media’s distorted, bias and fault coverage of various aspects of the Haiti disaster. One of the media’s falsehoods pointed out by Rush is their claim that Obama’s response to the Haiti disaster is far superior to Bush’s response to Katrina. Rush understands that unchallenged mis-truths later become facts.

In typical fashion, the usual suspects in the media distorted Rush’s remarks and accused him of saying things he did not say. They called Rush a racist and mind-spirited; standard names guaranteed to make white conservatives run for cover.

Thus, once again, I find myself thanking God for giving America Rush Limbaugh. I thank Him for creating a man who simply does not know how to go along to get along. There are not many things in life you can count on. But, you can always count on Rush Limbaugh telling it like it is.

In 1968, James Brown released his song, “Say It Loud — I’m Black and I’m Proud.” The cruelest and saddest effect of slavery and racism in America is that it caused us blacks to hate ourselves. When I was a kid, I picked up an unspoken vibe from my fellow blacks that light-skinned blacks were better than us of a darker completion. “Good hair” meant similar to white. One summer afternoon, my mom yelled, “You kids get in the house! You’re gettin’ too black out there in that sun!” I remember thinking, What is wrong with getting darker? This mindset is why Brown’s black pride anthem was so important and empowering.
Thank God that today, black youths would consider Brown’s song absurd and laughable. Despite what civil rights dinosaurs (stuck in the past), race profiteers, and the Obama administration would have us believe, America’s race relations have come a long way, baby.

Blacks are CEOs and multimillionaires. A full-figured, dark-skinned black woman could arguably be the most influential woman in the world, and a black man resides at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. The emergence of blacks from slavery to power confirms the God-inspired greatness of America. While the NAACP continues to sing, “We Shall Overcome,” news flash — the truth is that we have overcome!

As singer/songwriter of the “American Tea Party Anthem,” do I need to pen a silly song titled “Say It Loud – I’m Conservative and I’m Proud”? Liberals use their bully pulpits of the White House and mainstream media to misrepresent and demonize conservatism. This has made many conservatives fearful of coming out of the closet. Even George Bush felt the need to soften conservatism by putting the word “compassionate” in front of it. Such pandering to the left only contributes to the lie that conservatism is heartless and cruel. The truth is quite the opposite. Liberalism is arrogant, demeaning, and harmful. True compassion is expressed through conservatism.

And yet, far too often, we conservatives allow ourselves to be put on the defensive for telling the truth and offering our commonsense solutions. We allow the left to dictate the rules and what we can and cannot say. They even determine what is or is not racist. It was recently reported that liberal democrat Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid described then-Senator Barack Obama as “light-skinned” and “with no Negro dialect, unless he wanted to have one.”

Apparently Democrats Reid and V.P. Joe Biden, who made a similar racial comment, agree with L.A. Times reporter David Ehrenstein. Ehrenstein, a black man, called Obama “a Magic Negro” in an article. Conservative Rush Limbaugh was called a racist for simply mentioning the L.A. Times story.

Here is the blatant double-standard. Jackson, Sharpton, the NAACP, Democrats, and the mainstream media would have a cow had a conservative made the same comments as Reid. After they publicly flogged the racist conservative Republican SOB, they would demand his resignation. Reid apologized, and his liberal buddies ask us to forgive him. I mean after all, isn’t that what Jesus would do? Don’t you just love it when libs, whose mission is to ban God from the public square, refer to Jesus?

Taking back America requires that we stop being intimidated. We must boldly stand up for what is right, commonsense, and truly compassionate. For example, speaking English is unquestionably crucial to moving forward economically in America. Frustratingly, conservatives who encourage all Americans to speak English are attacked by the left as racist. Shake it off and keep telling and standing up for the truth.

The Tea Party Movement has been a coming-out party for conservatives, a kind of Proclamation of Liberation. We are standing up and saying “no” to political correctness and liberal tyranny. Still, like battered wives, some conservatives are shy about espousing the virtues of conservatism. They cannot bear the pain of being branded with the “R” for racist on their forehead for opposing any Obama agenda item. Nor can they handle being called heartless and cruel for opposing Obama’s redistribution of wealth via government-run health care.

On March 27, I will be on the road again with national Tea Party Express Tour III (TeaPartyExpress.org). I performed as a singer and speaker on tours I and II. Perhaps I should take a cue from James Brown and write a song to perform — one that will empower my timid conservative brothers and sisters who have been beaten down by liberal abuse and tyranny. “Say It Loud — I’m Conservative and I’m Proud!”

Now if I can just master a few of those dazzling James Brown dance moves. I can imagine the live report of my spectacular tea party performance: “Reminiscent of the late godfather of soul, amazingly, Lloyd does a spin and a split; the crowd goes wild! Oh my gosh, somebody call 9-1-1!” On second thought, I think I’ll stick to just singing and speaking.

TWENTY TEN, Take Back America/Vote Them Out music video

This topic may infuriate many of my fellow blacks. I am talking about black monolithic thinking and black racism.
Black actor Michael Clarke Duncan is probably best known for his brilliant performance in the movie “The Green Mile”. I watched a Steve Harvey special on BET (Black Entertainment Television). Harvey was on stage in a hall filled with a mostly black audience. He criticized Duncan for playing an ape in the 2001 “Planet of the Apes” movie. Harvey said that Duncan playing an ape would set blacks back many years. He said he asked Duncan, “How much are they paying you to play an ape?” The black audience enthusiastically agreed with Harvey. Harvey even said that when Duncan appeared on his radio show, several black callers pressured him to chastise Duncan for accepting the role.

Am I crazy, or is Harvey’s and his audience’s problem with Duncan playing an ape absurd? White and black actors played apes in the movie. Once in full ape makeup, it is impossible to distinguish who is black or white. How is Duncan harming or betraying his race?

In typical “groupthink” fashion instilled in the black community by their black liberal plantation overseers and Democrats over the years, the independent-minded black actor was expected to turn down a role in a major motion picture to appease an erroneous perception.

Of course, I realize that whites have called us monkeys and apes in the past. But what does that have to do with Duncan playing a role? Will whites say, “Duncan played the role so well, perhaps blacks really are monkeys”? The black criticism of Duncan is based on paranoia and a bit of racism — kind of a “we know how those white folks think” attitude. “How much are they paying you to play an ape?” asked Harvey. Isn’t it fair to assume that Harvey is really asking Duncan, “How much are they paying you to betray your people?”

Black presidential candidate Barack Obama receiving 96% of the black vote can be described only as an example of groupthink and racism. I caught heck for not sheepishly following the lead of my fellow blacks in voting for and worshiping at the feet of their Great Black Hope. How dare I ignore Obama’s skin color and scrutinize this man seeking to be elected leader of the free world?

Blacks expected me to ignore Obama’s associations with radial America-haters, his voting three times against protecting babies who survive abortions, and his socialist agenda of redistribution of wealth. Black America decided that Obama’s skin color trumped everything, and I had better get in step. As Rev. Wright said, “I am tired of Negroes who just don’t get it!”

Such attacks against black individuality and attempts of control by an indoctrinated black community and liberals truly offend me. I am an individual who happens to be black. My race is the human race. And yet, do I enjoy seeing blacks succeed outside of the box set for them by liberals? Absolutely, because I am sick of liberals and black overseers dictating what is considered acceptable black behavior. Black overseers (Sharpton and company) were not outraged because Tiger Woods cheated on his wife, but they were offended by his choice to have affairs with white women.

In urban communities where black male school dropout rates have reached epidemic levels, studious and articulate blacks are accused of trying to be white.

I never dreamed that we blacks would need to be liberated from ourselves. Like all humans, blacks are extremely diverse in their talents, tastes, and desires. We must stop allowing ourselves to be manipulated and intimidated into collectively voting for Democrats in order to keep Sharpton, Jackson, and the NAACP employed.

Though our ancestors came to America on slave ships, we blacks are extremely blessed to be born in the greatest nation on the planet. It is time we let go of the past. Yes, I know this will infuriate and shock some of you (race profiteers), but it is true. Black overseers and liberals must stop exploiting America’s past sins and viewing America from a 1950 point of view. For the sake of our children, blacks must see America for what it truly is today: a wonderful country where if the Obama administration would simply get out of the way, anyone with an idea, a dream, and a willingness to work can succeed. It is time to end “groupthink” and black racism and celebrate individuality and independence.

For this cause, I say to Al Sharpton, Jeanine Garafolo, and all you other libs, “Let my people go!”

TWENTY TEN, Take Back America/Vote Then Out music video

During the presidential campaign, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said Barack Obama would be a good candidate because he was “light skinned” and “with no Negro dialect, unless he wanted to have one”. Since the exposure of his racist comment, Reid has been running around apologizing to every black in America.

The elephant in the living room of the controversy that everyone seems to be ignoring is Reid’s horrific slap in the face of white America. In essence Reid believes, “most white American voters are racists who will not elect a dark-skinned black man”. Reid owes white America an apology and his resignation. This will never happen because democrats and the mainstream media believe it is OK to trash white America. Liberals have been portraying white America, mainly white males, as racist villains who victimize everyone from Christopher Columbus to the current Tea Party patriots.

As a black patriot, I am more offended by Reid’s dis of my white fellow Americans than I am of him insulting me as a black man. White liberals have been insulting and demeaning us blacks for years. It is what they do. Liberals believe blacks cannot be successful in America without lowered standards and their intervention.

Years ago, a white friend’s son came home from middle school in tears over the cruelty of our founding fathers against Native Americans. Today, that kid is a 23 year old America-hating Marxist. Thank you public schools for your liberal America-sucks curriculum.

Liberal actress Jeannine Garafolo called the Tea Party Patriots “tea bagging redneck racists” for their opposition of Obama’s far left radical agenda. I have yet to hear one Democrat or liberal media member rebuke Garafolo’s outrageous comment. The liberal Democrat House Majority Leader Nancy Pelosi called the tea party attendees an angry mob, Astroturf and even threw in the term Nazi for good measure. Again, trashing, insulting and demeaning white America is fair game.

Without hesitation the Democrats trash white America whenever it serves their purpose. When Obama said the white police officer acted stupidly for arresting black professor Gates, for which Obama had to later apologize, the liberal Democrat machine went into action to defend Obama. They launched a media campaign to prove that America’s white cops do profile and abuse blacks.

In the 30 minutes I was on the Stair-Master at the gym, I witnessed two black Democrats on TV saying that Reid simply spoke the truth. Both blacks said they do receive more respect from whites because of their light skin. This is absurd. Oprah Winfrey, a dark skinned black woman is one of the most influential people in the world. America is the home of countless highly influential, powerful and wealthy dark-complected blacks. Rushing light skinned blacks on TV to defend Reid’s false accusation against whites is yet another example of how democrats have no problem trashing white America to save one of their own.

A part of me hates the touchiness of our society. The slightest infraction and everyone is screaming, “Off with their head!” But in the case of Harry Reid, demanding his resignation is truly in order. Every poll confirms the majority of Americans are against Reid’s horrific massive government takeover of our lives disguised as a health care bill. Still, this arrogant evil man has chosen to undermine the will of the people. Reid and company desire to ignore the Constitution and hijack as much of our freedoms, liberty and culture as they can get away with. The passage of government run health care would be a major victory in their quest to transform America.

I would relish a scenario similar to what happened to Al Capone happening to Harry Reid. The government knew Capone was guilty of numerous serious crimes. However, they could not gather enough evidence to convict him. Finally, they were able to send Capone to prison on the lesser crime of income tax evasion.

Reid is guilty of betraying the American people. Unfortunately, the Democratic Party, with help from a sycophant liberal mainstream media, have built a protective wall around Reid. But the exposure of Reid’s racism and contempt for the American people could punch a huge hole in the protective wall which surrounds him. And just like the city of Jericho, hopefully, Reid’s protective wall will come tumbling down.

2010, Take Back America/Vote Them Out music video

My wife Mary’s eyes glaze over whenever I mention football. “But honey this is about life not football” I promise her. She graciously listens. Three years ago with only a few minutes left in the game, all Tony Romo, quarterback of the Dallas Cowboys had to do was hold the football so his kicker could kick a game tying field goal. Romo fumbled the ball.

After his horrible unbelievable mistake, the young quarterback sat on the bench dejected with his head hung low. John Madden, former pro football coach was one of the announcers on the TV broadcast team. Madden said, “Somebody needs to tell Romo to get his head up. This game is not over and he still has to lead his team”. Wow, I don’t know why, but I found the wise old coach instructing (mentoring) the young man quite moving.

Madden was saying leadership is understanding it is not about you. As the Bible says, “To whom much is given, much is required”. Madden is also saying, OK, Tony Romo, you said you wanted to be the leader of this team; you must do just that, Lead! You do not have the luxury of sulking over your mistakes. True leadership is putting the needs of your team before your needs.

The Obama administration and the media puts his needs before the best interest of the American people. They believe since Obama is the first black president, he is simply too big to fail. Consequently, every event, policy and etc is judged from a “how will this affect Obama’s presidency” point of view rather than what is best for America.

They protect him at all cost against all offenders. Rush Limbaugh was verbally gang flogged for daring to say he hoped Obama’s wacko agenda failed?

Think about this folks. We have a president that everything is about him. Despite it being the best facility to house enemy combatants, Obama has vowed to close Guantanamo Bay prison to appease far left voters. It’s all about what is best for Obama.

Months ago, Obama called the Cambridge cops stupid for arresting Gates. Black professor Gates was wrong. The white decorated arresting officer was right. Still, the Obama administration and liberal media immediately went into “defend Obama mode”. They launched a national champaign on talk shows, print and etc attempting to prove Obama correct; all police are racist profilers who abuse blacks. Can you imagine the lengths Obama and his minions will go to make him look good. Throw national relations between blacks and the police under the bus, no problem. It’s all about Obama.

Most outrageously, along with 9-11 terrorists, the failed underwear bomber will be given the same legal rights as an American citizen, free lawyer and etc. Why? To pander to Obama’s far left America hating radical voters. Trying terrorists in civilian court will give them access to our intelligence and a worldwide platform to spew their anti-American rhetoric, thus putting American lives at risk. No problem because it is not about us, it’s all about Obama. He has to throw his voters who think we deserved 9-11 a big bone.

After three terrorists attacks in the last six months, many predict another attack will put our president in deep trouble with the American people. That might be the truth regarding a normal presidency. But, you just don’t get it. The media will simply circle the wagons around their golden child. Obama’s black skin is the ultimate trump card exempting him of any criticism and objective critique.

Obama-ites in the media and democrats call the millions of Tea Party Patriots who are against Obama’s, “Fundamental restructuring of America” an angry mob of rednecks and racists. Ignoring the presence of highly visible blacks such as myself and others (I wrote the national Tea Party Anthem for crying out loud) lib commentator Chris Matthews boldly proclaimed, “There are no blacks at the tea parties. They’re all white!” Again, trashing whites and straining race relations in America to further Obama’s agenda, no problem. It’s all about Obama.

Obama was caught on video eight times during his campaign promising health care negotiations would be broadcast on C-span. Now in the White House, Obama has rejected C-span’s request to broadcast the health care negotiations. Obama’s lie will only be reported on a few cable networks and the web. The majority of the mainstream media will protect Obama.

Remember, when the story broke about elementary school kids being taught songs praising Obama? The real message in the songs is, “It’s all about Obama…Mm…Mm..Mm!”

I could go on and on giving examples of how the media judges every political event as how it will affect the presidency of their sacred black president with no regard for America’s best interest.

Here is another quick example. After his heart attack scare, Rush Limbaugh said the health care he received was excellent. Rush said the American health care system is the best in the world. The media was outraged and called Rush’s proclamation an attack against Obama. Apparently, praising our health care system is unacceptable and bordering on “hate speech” when it does not line up with Obama’s agenda. Everything is about Obama.

Mr. Obama is the man who occupies the Oval office, but he is not our leader. He has yet to grasp the concept that it is not about him.

By the way, quarterback Tony Romo did get his head up. He has lead his team to numerous victories. Today, Tony Romo is a pro football superstar.

A recent article predicted the Tea Party Movement will fail and fade away because it does not have an official leader promoting a single agenda. I disagree.

After attending a Florida tea party, Rhonda Lochiatto, an elementary school teacher decided to run for school board. In her own words, “I am tired of the mismanagement of funds that goes on in the school district and of the current policies and procedures that are taking place when it comes to grading, etc”.

Rhonda epitomizes what the Tea Party Movement is all about; concerned citizens, true patriots, stepping up to the plate and doing whatever their passions and gifts lead them to do. In my travels across America on Tea Party Express tours one and two, I met many patriots young and old who were running for office for the first time. Seeds planted by the tea parties have harvested a cornucopia of new organizations. Their common goal: Take Back America!

No, we do not have a single person as our grand puba. We are blessed with several great leaders; Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity, Congresswoman Michele Bachmann and Dick Armey to name only a few.

Any attempt to rein in all Tea Party Patriots under one leader and strategy would be a mistake, not to mention impossible. Unquestionably, the power and force of the tea party phenomena grows daily as more and more Americans awaken from their Obama (he sure is pretty, black and speaks well) trance. They rub their eyes, see the craziness of his agenda and shutter, “Oh my gosh, what have we done!”

The Tea Party Movement is bigger than any one person. Patriots driven by their individual passion and talent are needed on all fronts local and national.

The only thing I would advise against is the formation of a national third party. It would split the conservative/libertarian vote thus insuring democrat victory. Remember the phrase, “Not your dad’s Chevrolet”? Obama, Reid, Pelosi and company have an agenda far different than our parent’s perception of the democrat party. The party has become a haven for far left radicals, socialists, secular progressives and plain old America haters.

While I admit the republicans are guilty of embracing a “liberal lite” agenda to win votes, (which did not work, John McCain case in point) they lean the closest to our values. Not one republican voted for Harry Reid’s Health Care Horror. Frustrated, many of you yell, “There is no freaking difference between either party”. That simply is not true. Thus, our efforts are best served getting the Republican party back on track rather than forming a third party.

I realize the idea of “We The People” starting a third party is romantic, seductive and feels empowering. But it is living on Fantasy Island rather than the real world. Running third party candidate Ross Perot against George Bush Sr. is how Bill Clinton, the long shot, won the election. Perot took votes from Bush, not Clinton. Attempting to form a third party again would be like a movie sequel, “Ross Perot Two: This Time its Devastating”.

Now, while I am against forming a national third party, running third party candidate Doug Hoffman in New York was a good thing. The republicans betrayed us by selecting and heavily funding ($900,000) far left candidate, Dede Scozzafava for New York’s 23rd congressional district. We Tea Party Patriots around the country just said, “No!” We rallied around Hoffman sending national support and funds for the local race. Despite both parties ganging up on Hoffman, (outrageously Scozzafava, the republican, dropped out and endorsed the democrat) our Conservative third party candidate nearly won. Hoffman’s near victory sent a powerful message to both parties. They now realize we are a force with which to be reckoned. There’s a new sheriff in town whose name is the Tea Party Movement.

I would be extremely leery of any self appointed leader of the Tea Party Movement. If we are to have a leader, his or her emergence will happen spontaneously via the people.

With great optimism and anticipation, I enter 2010. This is the year politicians who have ignored our voices and betrayed their duty to uphold the Constitution will experience the shock and awe of our wrath at the polls in November.

As to the theory the Tea Party Movement needs a leader; like the line in the Mel Brooks movie, Blazing Saddles, “Badges? We don’t need no stinking badges”, I say, “Leader? We don’t need no stinking leader!” We the people are doing just fine.

Twenty Ten (2010) Take Back America / Vote Them OUT music video

In defense of Bill Clinton, their democrat president, the liberal media campaigned to convince Americans that character does not matter. In the midst of the Clinton scandals, I was shocked to hear even a minister say Clinton’s affairs were a personal matter and did not affect his presidency. The media spin worked.

An extraordinary man was featured on the Glenn Beck TV program, Jon Huntsman, founder of the Huntsman Cancer Institute. Asked by Beck to share, Huntsman told a tale of amazing integrity. In the 80s, Huntsman sold his business for 54 million dollars. The buyer’s lawyers were slow. In the 6 months it took them to finalize the contract, Huntsman’s business grew in value 5 times their original deal. The buyer was willing to pay more. Huntsman said he would stick to their original deal because he had given his word and shook the buyer’s hand. Huntsman’s character and integrity is a striking contrast to the caliber of men and women we have running our country.

Huntsman shared a quote from Winston Churchill, “With integrity, nothing else counts. Without integrity, nothing else counts.” I could not agree more. The kind of people we put in office is extremely important.

With Harry Reid and the democrats circumventing the will of the American people to pass their unprecedented massive government takeover of our lives disguised as a Health Care bill, Churchill’s words could not ring more true. Integrity equals Character. And these evil people have none.

How did these scoundrels get elected? It has been said, “the people get the government they deserve”. Do we deserve these socialists who are committed to changing America into an abomination of our Constitution, hijacking our freedom, liberty and culture; bankrupting the futures of our children and grandchildren? Is this the change many voted for? Did we bring Harry Reid’s Horror on ourselves? I think not.

Sadly, socialism is what some voters wanted. These pathetic entitlement minded knucklehead losers are still waiting for Obama to pay their rent, buy them a car and provide the gas. But the majority of Obama voters were conned, sold a lie, a moderate candidate. Funny how that “C” word (Character) always comes back to haunt. If a president is a narcissistic liar, it does not matter what he says.

Despite catastrophically high unemployment numbers, our character deficient president looks into the TV camera and boldly proclaims all is well. His blatant lies include the health care bill is deficit neutral, no government funded abortions and no health care for illegals. Obama’s character is so flawed you can almost always assume the truth is the opposite of whatever comes out of him mouth. It is horrific to have such a man as leader of the free world. A devastating experience taught me years ago character always matters.

The Old Man and The Lincoln.

My wife and I sold our home in Maryland to pursue a career opportunity in Florida. One of our two vehicles was an old Lincoln with a nightmarish oil leak. After hiring and firing numerous mechanics and spending $1500, the leak continued. We decided to dump the car before leaving for Florida.

An old white gentleman, probably in his 80s, answered our ad. Time grew short and we were desperate to sell the car. I did not want anything to blow the deal. Being an interracial couple, I thought it best Mary, my beautiful blonde wife, show the car to the gentleman alone. I read men like women wearing bright colors. So, I suggested Mary wear her red dress.

Mary met the old man in a restaurant while I waited in our second car. The Lincoln and Mary were a hit. The old man asked Mary to follow him home to finalize the deal. I followed.

As we approach his home, this was before cell phones, I attempted to telepathically tell Mary do not park in his driveway for he would surely notice the oil leak. She parked in his driveway.

Mary stayed in the old man’s home for what felt like forever. Because of his frail frame and slow deliberate movements, I had no fear for her safety.

Finally, Mary came out and hopped in the car. “I got it”, she exclaimed! “$3000, cash!” Elated, we gave each other a high five. At last the thorn in our side was gone.

As we drove home, Mary explain why it took so long to finalize the deal. The old man was obviously lonely. He liked Mary and shared family albums and stories with her. His wife of many years was in a nursing home. He visited the love of his life every day. Shamefully, I tried to justify our sin. “He is old. He won’t drive much. The oil leak is no big deal for him.”

Upon entering our front door, the phone was ringing. It was the old man. “Mr. Marcus, can I get my money back? That car is leaking oil something fierce.”

Suddenly, I was overcome with shame, sadness and embarrassment. Mary felt the same conviction. When the pressures of life squeezes you, what comes out reveals who you really are. I was devastated by what came out of me. I was so consumed with my needs I sacrificed my integrity. Just as Judas betrayal Christ and sold his soul for 30 pieces of silver, I sold my character for a measly $3000.

My replied to the old man was, “Yes sir, of course we will return your money.” Circumstances prevented us from returning his money until after the weekend. Meanwhile, I could not look at that money without weeping.

When we returned his money, the old gentleman thanked and praised us for being good honorable people. However, I knew we should have been honest and upfront with him from the beginning.

As Churchill said, “With integrity, nothing else counts. Without integrity, nothing else counts.”

Our country is under siege by evil characterless politicians. Yes, I boldly use the “e” word because I believe it to be accurate. Their power grabbing socialistic agenda is an anathema to our Constitution and everything which has made America great.

As Reid and company celebrate their under the cloche of darkness 1am victory vote, they under estimate the power of right and the will of we the people. Our integrity and love for our country will not allow this evil to prevail. 2010 is coming and there will be heck to pay!

It is New Years Day. I just returned home from a great workout at the gym. Squats, leg press and 30 minutes on the Stair Master. Last year at this time, I was losing weight despite eating like a horse. Diagnosis, Diabetes.

I have learned my blood sugar numbers are better when I reduce calories and exercise. Despite this knowledge, I have been lazy and not exercising. I had a revelation today. “You can exercise for an hour 3 or 4 times a week or you could probably have to attend kidney dialysis 4 or 5 times a week for 4 hours.”

Tea Party Express III tour begins March 27^th. I MUST be in good shape and ready to go for my country. Happy New Year!

2010, Take Back America – Vote Them Out music video

I hate to say this out loud. Upon hearing Rush Limbaugh was in the hospital and his condition serious, I felt a nervous twinge in my stomach. Dare I say it, I thought, “Oh my gosh, what if Rush was gone”. I could not help but think of the shocking passing of Michael Jackson. The next morning, I timidly turned on my TV. “Praise God!”, Rush is resting comfortably.

I had the same fearful feeling in my stomach once before years ago. My wife passed out after dinner as we were leaving a restaurant. She awoke and was fine. During the time she was unconscious, the thought of life without her overwhelmed me with fear. The incident gave me a whole new appreciation of her and our relationship.

This incident with Rush makes me feel the same way. I am sure when Rush started his career, he simply wanted to earn a living doing what he loves to do. Rush had no idea he would grow to mean so much to millions and his country. Rush Limbaugh has become bigger than Rush Limbaugh.

Rush, please take care of yourself. We (America) love and need you! God bless.

What I am about to share has little political relevance. It is simply a candid expression of my gratitude and a testimony to how anything can happen in this glorious experiment called America.

Last Christmas, because I was selected by my congressman to decorate an ornament for the White House Christmas tree, my wife Mary and I were invited by Laura Bush to a reception at the White House.

The White House sent me a six by six inch silver plastic ball with specific instructions. The theme of my design must reflect my state (Florida) in a red, white and blue color scheme. Also, the decorated ornament must be returned by a specific date in the same box in which it was delivered to me.

My design was pretty neat, if I do say so myself; stars, palms trees and water all done in thousands of tiny beads. A great bead artist, Jenny Shibona, implement my design.

Artists across America selected to decorate ornaments were invited to the reception hosted by First Lady Bush.

Getting through security took awhile, but not too long. The White House was wonderfully decorated, each room more beautiful and spectacular than the other. The food and desserts were delicious and elegantly presented including a white chocolate replica of the White House.

Mrs. Bush’s three hundred or so guests enjoyed Christmas music played by a young soldier on a grand piano. I asked the pianist if she knew “The Christmas Song” and could I sing it? Amazingly this courageous trusting young pianist invited me to sing as she accompanied me. Judging from the applause, we were a hit. Wow, my first unofficial performance at the White House.

Shortly after my performance, Mrs. Bush made her grand entrance. Everyone flocked to her as a chorus of cameras flashed. Laura delivered a charming speech thanking us artists.

The staff photographer took a picture of each artist and their date/guest in front of the official White House Christmas tree which was later mailed to us.

The waiters had a very polite way of informing us when the reception was over. Waiters stood in both entrances of the buffet room. When guests tried to reenter, “Excuse me, this room is closed”.

It was a truly wonderful and memorable evening. The most amazing thing about our White House visit was Mary and I were homeless five years earlier. Through making a crazy impulsive decision to quit my job of 15 years as a graphic designer and supervisor at a TV station to pursue a music career, we fell upon extremely hard times. Only in America could I become internationally known and dining at the White House. Our journey is also a great testimony to God’s Grace, Love and Faithfulness. I share details of our incredible journey in my soon to be released book, “Confessions of a Black Conservative: How the Left has shattered the dreams of Martin Luther King, Jr. and Black America”.

Mary and I left Washington DC and drove to the hills of West Virginia to visit her parents.

After a lovely few days with her folks, we prepared to fly home to Florida. Mary’s mom’s computer was broken so we could not download our boarding passes. We were forced to drive10 miles to Mary’s sister’s office to use a computer.

To get there, Mary’s mom instructed, “Take Grassy Lick Road”. As Mary drove the extremely hilly and winding road, we kept losing the radio signal. So, we turned the radio off. We didn’t see a single soul; only small farms, horses and black cows eating grass. “Oh honey look, there’s a deer” yelled Mary. Then we saw two, and two more, five deer in total.

A slight chill was in the air. We smelled someone using their fireplace. When we finally reached the main highway, we realized that beyond the acknowledged deer sightings, we hadn’t spoken our entire cruise down Grassy Lick Road. We rode in silence enjoying the subtle sounds of nature. Mary and I almost simultaneously turned to each other and said, “Wow, was that awesome or what!” That little detour was so beautiful, relaxing and peaceful.

What appeared to be a negative, her mom’s broken computer, turned out to be a lovely little gift from God. I’m learning to view more of life’s detours in a more faith filled light.

Our years of struggle since quiting my job in 1993 have forced Mary and I to grow up. In our youth, we were ungrateful and arrogant; funny how hardships teach you gratitude. We have acquired a greater awareness of blessings; not just the big blessings, but the small ones like Grassy Lick Road, a supportive phone call when you really need it and winning the bid on eBay for that perfect gift for a friend. We have also learned that true happiness is found in surrendering to God’s purpose for our lives.

As we enter this holiday season, Mary and I are extremely mindful of how far we have come thanks to God and being blessed to have been born in the greatest nation on the planet.

I am looking forward to continuing my “Million Handshake March” while on “Tea Party Express III Tour: Just Vote Them Out”, which launches March 27th. I can hardly wait!

Have a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy and Blessed New Year!

A young married couple, Paul and Nancy were neighbors of mine back in the seventies. Nancy was extremely excited. An unexpected opportunity arose for her to attend college. This would broaden her horizons and enable her to pursue opportunities beyond her current minimum wage jobs. Paul was dead set against it. He confided in me, “I’m afraid if she gets educated, she may not want me anymore”. I thought, “So rather than allowing Nancy whom you profess to love to be all she can be, you would prefer to keep her down”.

In the eighties, I was a member of a team of six artists at a Baltimore TV station. They hired a new kid. Jeff was talented, enthusiastic and ambitious. Whenever someone came in the art department with a request and our supervisor was unavailable, (while other artists ignored them thinking it’s not my job) Jeff stepped up and took care of them. Jeff’s attitude caused tension between him and our union. While the union could not nail Jeff for doing anything outside of the restrictions of our contract, the consensus was he was too friendly with management and eager to do things beneficial to the company. The real conflict was Jeff’s nature drove him to excellence and our union encouraged group mediocrity.

I shared these two stories as examples of attempts to stifle personal greatness. Folks, liberals (black and white) have been stifling black American individuality and greatness for years while deceptively shrouded in compassion. In reality, liberals’ true attitude towards independent blacks is, “Who the “H” do you think you are? How dare you achieve success without us”.

Liberals use intimidation and punishment to rein in blacks who bypass their formula for success. Dr King believed in personal responsibility. He required his fellow marchers to be clean, sober and even tempered. He marched and gave his life for fairness, not special concessions. By the way, Dr King was a Republican.

The liberal media celebrates black achievement only when it comes from an, “I made it in spite of America’s racism” point of view. Blacks who proclaim, “I achieved because America is the greatest land of opportunity on the planet for all who choose to go for it” are vilified by the media; branded Uncle Toms and traitors to their race.

The Left’s message is clear. To be authentically black and faithful to their race, blacks must not achieve on their own, view themselves as eternal victims and reserve at least a minimal resentment against white America.

While in the supermarket check out line, I saw Rev. Al Sharpton, the poster child of the “America Sucks for Blacks” campaign, on the cover of Ebony magazine. Gag me.

I searched the internet. Former U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice or U.S. Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas have never been featured on the cover of Ebony magazine. Think about that. Before the election of Obama, the two most powerful blacks in America, (Rice was the most powerful woman in the world) have never graced the cover of black America’s most prestigious magazine. Why? Because most black media outlets wish to keep the “blacks need liberals to achieve” thing alive. Rice and Thomas achieved their phenomenal success the old fashion way, they earned it.

Sharpton on the cover of Ebony magazine is typical of liberal black media’s betrayal. They have been feeding their people spin and mis-truths for years, all of which is designed to keep blacks on the government dependency plantation and voting for democrats.

Imagine how empowering it would be for blacks if Ebony featured a self made black conservative on it’s cover. When I say, “self made”, I do not mean without any assistance. No man is an island and all who succeed had help along the way. I am talking about achieving through education, hard work and doing the right things as opposed to the liberal demeaning path to success which is lowered standards, playing the victim card and affirmative action.

Frustratingly, entrenched false paradigms are difficult to break. The Republican party was partly founded to end slavery. Historically and today, Republicans have proven themselves to be far greater friends to blacks than the democrats. And yet, most blacks believe Republicans are racists. Despite numerous mega-rich blacks and America electing a black president, most blacks mindlessly embrace the liberal lie that America has not changed much since the 1950s. Compassionately, I want to grab black America by the collar and slap it while yelling, “Wake up…snap out of it!”

I know two black brothers. The elder has a factory job which he hates for 20 years. His mind is infected with liberal rhetoric, “The American system is designed for blacks to fail”. Meanwhile, his younger brother ignored the lies and started his own successful janitorial business shortly after graduating high school.

Life is about choices. Liberals do a great disservice to minorities by constantly attempting to convince them they are eternal victims unable to achieve without liberal intervention. It has been said, “If you love someone, set them free”.

Over the years, radical feminism has been attempting to demonize any display of testosterone. The slightest aggressive behavior is taken to the ultimate extreme portraying males as abusers. Their goal clearly is to wimpify maleness.

When I was serving on the board of our local YMCA, a national touring team of Christian strong men/bodybuilders wanted to make a presentation to our youths. Through various exciting well-choreographed displays of strength (chopping through cinder blocks with their bare hands and etc.) the ministers taught kids Christian values and principles. Our female chairperson of the board rejected their proposal. She said their display struck her as promoting violence. I thought, “Give me a break”. Since when did any hint of maleness become a bad thing?

Whether feminists like it or not, boys are designed to display strength, power and bond with other males. This is why so many fatherless boys join gangs. While I assume some kids truly are hyperactive, I wonder how many boys are being drugged simply for acting like boys?

When I was a kid, I saw the movie, “A Flower Drum Song”. One of the songs was, “I Enjoy Being a Girl”. Well, I proudly proclaim, “I enjoy being a guy”. As a kid, I wanted to grow up to become an artist. But even more than that, I wanted to grow up to become a man; brave, strong and always attempting to do the right thing. I know that sounds a bit corny. Blame it on my dad because this is the image my four younger siblings (three brothers, one sister) and I had of him.

In the early sixties, we black kids were bused to a newly integrated mostly white junior/senior high school. I was a short kid in seventh grade. Brutus was in the ninth grade, six foot tall and on the school’s basketball and football teams. He demanded my seat next to Barbara Jean on our school bus ride home.

Had Brutus asked me to give up my seat, I would have. But even at my young age, I knew allowing myself to be bullied would damage my manhood. Knowing Brutus would probably kick my butt, I determined my manhood was worth it. I told Brutus, “No!”

When the bus came to my stop, I dashed off running for my life. The long legged gifted athlete caught me and proceeded to pound me into the gravel road. Only the sight of my mom yelling and running towards us forced the giant to flee.

Surprisingly, Brutus and I later became friends. I believe he respected my courage.

Even fatherhood is no longer honored and respected. I find it difficult to enjoy sitcoms and movies where the kids totally disrespect the father. They chastise and say whatever they want to him. The message is clear, “Dad is an idiot” –  a far cry from the classic TV show, “Father Knows Best”.

To a certain degree, radical feminists have been successful in their quest to wimpify American men. You see it in everything from the way news stories are covered to national political issues. We are overly concerned with feelings rather than doing the right thing.

I saw a great old movie based on a true story titled, “Lifeboat”. After a shipwreck, a young captain attempted to save as many survivors as possible who were crammed well over capacity in a lifeboat. The captain was forced to make extremely difficult decisions: rationing food and water, dumping the almost dead overboard. A weak leader who refused to do what needed to be done would have caused the deaths of everyone. Despite strong criticism and mutiny by some, the courageous young captain took responsibility and made painful decisions which saved the lives of most of the survivors. Upon their rescue, everyone in the lifeboat was overwhelmingly grateful to the brave captain even calling him a hero. Once safe and secure on dry land, they called him a murderer. How typical. Eagles fly alone. Where are America’s great men?

America needs politicians of character and strength who will say, “No” to entitlement/redistribution programs. Such counterproductive programs become law when we are seduced by characterless politicians. These scoundrels skillfully appeal to our lower nature by playing the class envy card. Like perfect suckers we demand, “Let’s get those rich S.O.Bs who have succeeded on the backs of the poor!” It is also time we say no to our Oprah-ized society where everything is about feelings and everyone is a victim.

American men have a perfect example of strength and taking a stand for what is right to emulate. Ironically, it is a woman from Alaska.

A 1992 TIME Magazine cover read, “Why Are Men and Women Different?” Amazingly, this simple obvious truth was reported as a major scientific discovery.

Whether in athletics, business or government, controlled, well placed and appropriate amounts of testosterone is a good thing. Boldly say no to tyranny and evil. Radical feminism is a perversion. It is not representative of the desires of most men and women.

Men should take pride and honor their maleness. This in no way diminishes women. Quite the opposite, real men are not threatened and even enjoy women with healthy self images.

So look out radical feminists, we American men are back! Wow, writing this article has me feeling pretty macho fighting an urge to pound my chest and provide meat for my family. “Honey, get dressed! I’m taking you to dinner at our favorite steak house!” Afterwards, we’ll rent a movie. How about, “Tarzan, KING of the Jungle?”

Thanks to my wife who has this thing about not getting rid of books, I stumbled across a book I read years ago in my youth, “The Hiding Place” by Corrie ten Boom. The book chronicles the horrible experiences of Corrie and her family imprisoned in Nazi concentration camps. The epic cruelty and man’s inhumanity to man is breathtakingly unbelievable. Due to the brutality, extreme exposure, malnutrition and filth, Corrie’s sister Betsie died about a week before her release.

Two incidents drove home to me the importance of timely acts of kindness. Upon her release, Corrie was struggling to get home. She was dizzy and weak from starvation and could no longer walk because her feet were sore and swollen. A stranger approached. “You look like you need help.” Wow! Corrie leaned on him as he helped her to the train station.

Nearer home, Corrie hobbled into a hospital and told a nurse her story. The nurse left and returned with tea and rusk. She said, “I left the butter off. You’re suffering from malnutrition. You must be careful what you eat”.

Corrie said tears tumbled in the hot tea as she drank. It was the first time anyone had shown concern for her in a very long time.

Re-reading this book has affected me. Admittedly, it has probably made me a bit overly sensitive to displaying common decency. I turned on Sean Hannity, who I love. Sean had a big smile on his face while reporting more sleazy details of the Tiger Woods scandal. I could not watch him. I turned the channel. Yes, I turned off Hannity who is one of my heroes and flipped back to his show after he finished the Tiger story.

I am all for exposing characterless politicians who pay for prostitutes with taxpayer funds, take bribes and cut self serving deals. Such politicians negatively affect our lives. Outing them is a public service.

Why is everyone having such a good time exposing every titillating detail of Tiger’s fall from grace. Tiger is not outspoken politically. He is a great athlete and private citizen. I realize Tiger betrayed his family and fans. Yes, I understand he is a celebrity who brought all of this on himself. I do not fault the media for reporting the scandal. It is a huge story. Tiger Woods has a sex problem. But again I ask, why is everyone so happy about it?

Some of you are probably saying “Toughen up Lloyd, it’s rough out there in the real world”. Like a said, I could be overly sensitive to the Schadenfreude (glee at another’s misfortune) I am witnessing. Tiger is a troubled young man. His brilliance on the golf course has thrilled us for nearly a decade. Suddenly everyone seems to be relishing his self destruction. It feels very wrong to me.

I am praying for Tiger and his family. It has been said a fall backward handled correctly can be a spring board forward. It would be wonderful to see Tiger seize this veiled opportunity to prove himself to be a greater champion off the golf course by conquering his demons and restoring his family.

Please do not mistake my sympathy as a dismissal of Tiger’s trespasses. He screwed up big time! I am simply saying the joy over it all and the excessive coverage is distasteful. Enough already! We got it!

Who among us would like every embarrassing detail of our sin exposed? Because Tiger is a worldwide icon, does that make the piling on and lack of compassion for him and his humiliated wife OK? Is there an assumed rule, “No humanity for celebs”?

Is it because Tiger is at the top of the heap, people want to see him fall? We have all seen the tabloid covers while waiting in the supermarket check out line, “So and so (pick a celeb) may be rich and famous, but boy are they miserable!”

Could the celebration of Tiger’s fall be a reflection of the climate of hatred for achievers nurtured by the Obama administration? Now before you accuse me of piling on Obama, please hear me out.

According to the Obama administration, every successful business in America is obsessed with profits and have achieved via abusing their workers and the virtuous innocent poor. Thus, businesses’ ill gotten wealth must be redistributed.

I do not want to wander too far off topic. Back to Tiger. Not only for the sake of Tiger and his family, but for ourselves, it is harmful to continue reveling in Tiger’s humiliation.

Black community spokespersons tell us the black community is offended that all of Tiger Woods’ mistresses are white. I find the whole black spokesperson thing absurd. The media runs to Sharpton, Jackson and others to get the official black America take on hot issues. Are we a tribe? Are these guys our chiefs? By the way, who are the spokespersons for white America?

I am saddened that the sports icon is an adulterer and has destroyed his family and wholesome image. To the fact Tiger prefers white women, I say, so what? It is racist for these black liberal plantation overseers to make an issue of it. And how arrogant of them to think they can dictate who someone should date?

Black liberal plantation overseers are notorious for claiming ownership of successful blacks, similar to the mob hitting up a business for “their cut”. When Tiger first broke into the national spotlight, he was pressured, “What are you going to do for the black community?” There was even a slight tug of war between the races over who could claim the most ownership of the multi-racial cash cow. Black overseers simply tolerated Tiger marrying a white woman.

Interracial dating is pretty common today. When my white wife and I began dating thirty years ago, things were quite different. We experienced hate from both sides. A black maid told our potential landlord, “Don’t rent to them because any black man with a white woman is no good”. On one occasion, Mary and I were chased in our car by a car load of angry white men. Another incident happened while we were having dinner in a family restaurant, I was hit in the head with a bottle. Today, we don’t even consider our being an interracial couple an issue.

This may sound shocking to some, but what is wrong with Tiger preferring white women? As human beings, for whatever reasons, we have a multitude of varying tastes. In college, I had a 120 pound friend who would not give a woman a second look unless she weighed at least 300 pounds. I have known white men who exclusively date black women. Why is someone’s (legal age) mating choices anyone’s business?

In typical liberal control freak fashion, black overseers are lamenting the fact that they cannot control with whom Tiger has affairs. Note, the black overseers have no sympathy for his betrayed “white” wife; kind of reminds you of the O.J. trial.

If a white group publicly disapproved of Tiger dating exclusively white women, the media would be all over them screaming racism. And rightly so. But racism from blacks is met with sympathy and understanding by the media.

Speaking of the media, what is this Tiger Woods infidelity feeding frenzy really all about? The media was dragged kicking and screaming to the Bill Clinton, John Edwards and other Democrat scandals. So why are they gleefully focused on digging up dirty on Tiger 24/7?

Sadly, the word is “wholesome”. Tiger’s image was wholesome and the media hates wholesome which explains much of their insane hatred for Sarah Palin.

In America today, virtue and morals are despised by the media. People who believe in enforcing immigration laws are vilified as racists. People who believe in hard work as opposed to entitlements are branded selfish, heartless and cruel. When Clinton had sex with an intern, the media chided us for being judgmental and hypocritical. The liberal media said any man in Clinton’s shoes would have behaved as he. Thus, to save Clinton, the media trashed all men and campaigned to lower the mainstream standard of acceptable behavior.

The media loves it when “good people” fail because it strengthens their argument that standards of moral behavior should be eliminated, because no one can keep them. This is why libs hate having the Ten Commandments displayed in public. This is also why the liberal media hates conservatives. We conservatives stand for something; principles, morals and values. Do we keep them religiously? No. On numerous occasions, we fail. Thank God for Jesus. But our weaknesses and failures in no way weakens the standard. For example, should we legalize theft because people steal?

The Tiger fall helps the libs to say, “See that, all you goody two shoes, even your wholesome image Tiger Woods is a fraud”.

And I must say this, I believe if Tiger were having affairs with men, he would be a hero to Perez Hilton and praised by the liberal media for “coming out”.

Tiger’s fall from grace is truly unfortunate. I pray this will be a turning point in the life of this extraordinary young man and his family. Sometimes God gives us great gifts wrapped in ugly packages.

I was in Texas performing at a tea party rally (singer/songwriter of the American Tea Party Anthem). While waiting for my wife, I wandered into the hotel pub. It was Lady’s Night. A cowboy practically had a line of women waiting to dance with him. He held them firm, but gentle. He confidently lead and they gleefully followed. Each knowing she was in good hands. I, along with others, by the looks on their faces, thoroughly enjoyed watching him dance with the women. Why did we enjoy it? It represented the way men should be and how women want them to be. Despite what the radical feminists say, women want men to be strong and confident without being jerks. It is called Biology.

Is chivalry dead? Have we conservative men allowed political correctness to prevent us from treating women the way we instinctively know we should? When my three brothers and I started dating, my dad instructed us. “You take good care and return her home the way you found her”. Following dad’s instruction made us feel good about ourselves. We felt like men.

It is time we conservative guys start acting like men and defend our women folk (a little cowboy lingo). Since her acceptance speech as McCain’s VP nominee, attacks on Sarah Palin have been vile, extremely vicious and beyond the pale. Even Palin’s family including her 14 year old daughter were targeted for destruction by an, dare I use the “E” word, evil media. The Left’s hatred of Sarah Palin is good vs evil. Palin’s book tour is pouring gasoline on the Left’s “destroy Palin at any cost” fire. Governor Palin positively represents motherhood, marriage and traditional Christian values. The Left appears to despise any and all things wholesome.

Unfortunately, it appears even some on our side (conservatives) have bought into the media’s “she is not too bright” portrayal of Palin. When Obama says we have 57 states and other faux pas, his sycophant media circle the wagons around him by saying he is tired or simply misspoke. Meanwhile, every word out of Palin’s mouth is viewed from the template that she is stupid. Who amongst us could withstand such harsh scrutiny.

Well, I am standing up for my awesome conservative sister, Gov. Palin. She has the right stuff to get our country back on track. I love how Palin boldly, without apology, challenges the concept of government run health care, the global warming/climate change scam and her desire to drill for oil to make us energy independent. Talk about backbone. Could Sarah Palin be the reincarnation of John Wayne and Ronald Reagan? No, I do not believe in reincarnation; just having a little fun. My point is despite what the snobby elites, conservative and liberal, think, Sarah Palin is a powerful force to be reckoned with and is great for America.

We the people are so sick of mamby pamsy “middle of the road speak” focus group tested candidates. “Don’t say this because you will offend this crowd and don’t say that because you will offend the other.” For crying out loud, just say what you mean and mean what you say. Show us voters who you are. These are the kind of candidates we voters are longing and tea partying for. And this is why Sarah “what you see is what you get” Palin is a rock star!

I believe strong women inspire men to be strong. They are not offended when we open the door for them, carry their heavy packages and mind our conversation around them. Or has such behavior from men become too “Andy and Mayberry” for our secular progressive crude culture? Trust me, I am not a prude, but radial feminists have diminished women’s power in our society. I was raised a real man treats women with a level of respect. Nobody is allowed to “dis” your momma, wife or your sister.

Sarah Palin is a breath of fresh air; a woman using the God given power of her femininity to be a mom, a wife and govern a state. Awesome. I would be honored to say, “Yes, Madam President”.

Not only is the Left committed to keeping women in their place, but blacks as well; all the while claiming to desire progress and liberation for both. Blacks who achieve success without liberal programs and intervention are beaten down and dragged back to the Left’s government dependency plantation. Such uppity independent blacks are strapped in a chair, deprived bathroom privileges and shown videos 24/7 of Sharpton, Jackson and hypocritical rich America hating rappers. The deprogramming message, “America sucks! Racist! Sexist! Homophobic! Liberal democrats are your saviors!”

The Left is equally intolerant of independent thought coming from women. The Left deceptively call their pro abortion a pro choice movement. If choice is their issue, why are radical feminists so offended when a woman chooses not to have an abortion? They have a weird anti male (particularly white male) and family agenda. Outrageously, a feminist leader said “all sex is rape”. These angry bitter women have a distorted view of the world.

Then along comes Sarah Palin; happily married, a happy mom and effective governor. Feminists should regard Sarah Palin as their hero; a shining example of women’s liberation enjoying success in both words, family and career. But instead, the Left seeks to destroy her. Palin is too happy, too good, too pretty, too effective, and most intolerable, too powerful.

I wish to encourage my fellow conservative men to display a little John Wayne type testosterone and defend our feisty conservative women folks. As I am a conservative singer/songwriter, I have penned, performed and recorded a song honoring conservative women titled, “Our Girls”. Along with nationally known women like Sarah Palin, Ann Coulter, Laura Ingram, Michelle Malkin, my song is a tribute to all my patriot sisters that are fighting for the cause of freedom, liberty and conservative principles. Eleven months ago, he landed on the shores of the presidency, destroying everything in his path. A gigantic, fire-breathing monster wreaking havoc, consuming private sector industries, crushing institutions which have made America great, and destroying lives. With fear and trembling we dare to utter his name…Obamazilla! Though appearing indestructible and unstoppable, millions of brave patriots arose to challenge the beast, vowing not to sit idly by as America as we know it is terminated.

As a patriot, I am totally focused on defeating Obamazilla, America’s true nemesis. I will not allow myself to be sidetracked into participating in Tea-Party-movement family feuds. We are blessed to have brilliant, strong-willed strategists on our side who think they know which direction is best for the movement. That is fine. However, it is unfruitful and misdirected to boycott, trash, and waste time and resources suing those on our side who have varying opinions.

No one person or organization can claim ownership or take full credit for this amazing, historical Tea Party movement. It belongs solely to We, the People. It still blows my mind how without media support, but through online social networks and word of mouth, 1.7 million patriots showed up in Washington, D.C. on 9/12 to oppose tyrannical government.

Some have even attempted to force me to take sides. They threatened, “Lloyd, if you sing at their tea party, I will no longer be your fan.” Unless a tea party group is wacko, while I may not totally agree with their approach, I consider them an ally. Again, my total focus is on the big picture: stopping the huge monster which is destroying our freedom, liberty, and culture.

Back in April, an upset California patriot e-mailed me after a successful tea party. His local organizers were gung-ho about fighting the battle on the national level. My e-mailer had a fire in his belly to fight locally. I advised my patriot brother to follow his passion. Our incredible movement was sparked by the passion of one man: Rick Santelli. What began with passion can be sustained only by passion, by everyone doing what he or she feels passionate about doing.

Besides, we need patriotic freedom-fighters in all areas and on all levels.

Unfortunately, feuding over strategies has become a major distraction in the tea party movement. No, I am not asking anyone to compromise beliefs or ideas. Quite the opposite. Whatever way you and your group choose to fight Obamazilla is fine with me. But do not feud with tea party patriots who disagree or do not share your passion. Remember, your target is Obamazilla.

Like everyone else, I have opinions regarding the focus of the movement, but I will not allow my opinions to cause me to break fellowship with my fellow freedom-fighters.

For example, some think the Tea Party movement should remain “pure” by not supporting any political candidates. I disagree. We can tea party until the cows come home, but if we do not work to put true conservatives in office, we are simply making noise without achieving anything.

Another source of contention in the movement is talk of a third political party. I believe a third party would ensure the election of Democrats. Remember how Ross Perot got Clinton elected?

Having said that, you third-party patriots, if you feel strongly about starting a third party, go for it. You will not get any flack from me. My efforts are targeted solely on stopping Obamazilla. I only ask that you graciously accept me not wearing your t-shirt.

For crying out loud, patriots, Obama has awarded a terrorist the same legal rights as an American citizen. Reid is muscling health care through the Senate. Cap-and-trade is next on the agenda. In America, we have a “pay czar.” The list of horrors grow daily, and we patriots are fighting amongst ourselves. Please stop it. Stay focused on the real monster, the real enemy, the real threat to America: Obamazilla!

The Tea Party movement has birthed countless grassroots organizations. It is truly a wonderful thing. I find it extremely exciting that patriots all over America are fighting to defeat this monster administration and restore our great nation in their own way. I met many of these committed patriots while traveling on the national Tea Party Express II tour. Conservatives from twenty-something to eighty are running for office for the first time. Old ladies are bombarding their congressmen and senators with phone calls and letters. Everyone is doing his part.

As corny and clichéd as this sounds, it still holds true: “United we stand, divide we fall.” Let’s stand together, brothers and sisters. Let’s stand!

American Tea Party: 12 great songs to Take Back America!

I have a history with Oprah Winfrey. Back in the eighties, Oprah and I worked at WJZ-TV, an ABC affiliate TV station in Baltimore. Oprah was co-host with Richard Sher of the local morning talk show, “People Are Talking”. I was a Graphic Designer in the Creative Services/Art department.

The late famous psychic, Jeanne Dixon was a guest on our morning show. After the show, Dixon read Oprah’s palm. She predicted Oprah would achieve incredible fame some day. Dixon read my palm also and saw nothing. I am not saying psychics are real or unreal, I am simply telling a true story.

I admired Oprah because she was a ‘paradigm breaker’. According to the WJZ-TV employee rumor grapevine, certain power elites at WJZ-TV were unhappy with the hiring of Oprah. They said she was unattractive and not too bright. I love people who ignore what people say they can or cannot do. Oprah was a heavy set dark skinned black woman on TV. With the exception of playing a maid, that was unheard of in the 80s. Also, blacks on TV seemed obsessed and pressured to prove to white America they were intelligent and articulate. Oprah was confident enough to simply be herself and people gravitated to her.

Here is how Oprah got to Chicago and became, “Oprah”. “People Are Talking” associate producer, Debra DiMaio was seeking a new position at a TV station in Chicago. After reviewing DiMaio’s reel (industry term for resume video) the Chicago producers fell in love with Oprah; and the rest is history.

Upon hearing Oprah acquired a new job in Chicago, we, her fellow employees at WJZ-TV, planned a surprise going away party for Oprah. Barbara Hamm, a producer gathered footage of Oprah on air over her years at the station. I parodied the classic, “You Made Me Love You” to write a song to Oprah. News video editor Commodore Hill used footage gathered by Barbara and my Oprah song to produce a beautiful and emotional tribute farewell music video for Oprah. We played it at her farewell party. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house. It was a huge hit. Oprah wrote me the following thank you letter.

“Dear Lloyd,

As you probably know or maybe don’t know, I am a big Diana Ross fan — when I was a little girl growing up in the ghetto with only dreams for companions — I wanted so much to be Dianna Ross or just somebody’s supreme. But I want you to know had THE Diana Ross sang the “Oprah Song” — it would not have meant as much to me as having you do it. Not only was the song beautiful but — I felt it was also sincere.

I was so moved and will never ever forget it — or you.

Just as I know that it is indeed the master’s Hand that keeps me from falling — and that he has laid his hands on me and that is why I am so blessed. I know Lloyd that you too have been “chosen”.

You’re a very special person. Your light so shines that we all can see. Thank you for your support — I know there is much joy ahead for you.

Without question, Oprah has done tremendous good, touching the lives of millions in a positive way. And for this I salute her. Because she has such a huge heart and compassion, Oprah tends to take the emotional liberal side of issues. However, though well intentioned, ignoring reality and human nature can be extremely destructive. A common theme on Oprah’s show is everyone is a victim of somebody or something. All abusers are not the products of abuse. History proves some people are simply evil and some people are lazy losers.

And why in almost 25 years of broadcasting have we not seen one conservative, “I am not a victim of white America” black guest on the Oprah show? This is a huge disservice to black America. We blacks, I am black, are blessed to be born in the greatest land of opportunity on the planet. And yet, liberal icons are still filling the heads of black youths that they are victims of a sexist, racist and homophobic America. Despite Oprah being close to if not the richest woman in America and America electing it’s first black president, the branding of Americans as racist is stronger than ever.

So Oprah, my dear friend, I challenge you. You have announced your program will end in 2011. How about doing a wonderful thing for not just for black Americans, but all. In your remaining programs invite black conservatives to appear as guests. May I suggest a few?

Chris Gardener, whose life story is topic of the hit movie, “The Pursuit of Happyness”. Will Smith portrayed Gardener in the movie. Thomas Sowell is a brilliant American economist, social commentator, and author of dozens of books. Walter Williams is a syndicated columnist and Professor of Economics at George Mason University.

Oprah these are “non victim minded” extremely successful blacks America should meet. Who could better introduce these great black American role models than the great, one and only Oprah Winfrey?
