Post-Election, Democrats, and the Holidays

Hello America. My wife Mary and I spent much of the past two years traveling state to state campaigning to keep Republicans in control of the house and senate. Along with our team of associates, Mary and I worked extremely hard and passionately for Conservative/Republican candidates and our country.

The day after the election, we were in a Nevada hotel room preparing to fly home. After Mary finished packing our suitcases making sure they weighed less than 50 pounds, the impact of losing the U.S. House hit her. Mary wept. While I am also disappointed, I trust God.

In a just world, the Democratic Party should have been crushed November 6. Americans should have been blessed with a red tsunami.

America’s chickens of decades of surrendering our kids for leftist indoctrination in public schools have come home to roost. Consequently, far too many of our millennial voters have disdain for their country. They embrace socialist and Communist candidates who run as Democrats.

Democrats outrageously promote mob violence against Trump supporters and threatened blood in our streets if Democrats did not come out on top in the midterms.

Insidiously evil Democrats plan to continue lying to destroy the lives of Brett Kavanaugh and his family. It has been exposed that Democrats are funding the invasion of our country by illegals.

An Antifa mob attacked the home of Fox News’ Tucker Carlson. They publicly posted on the internet the home addresses of Sean Hannity, Ann Coulter, Tucker, his brother and his friends. Antifa publicizing addresses is a clarion call to their fellow Democratic Party anarchists to assault all who dare to disagree with their evil Godless agenda.

The Democratic Party not being punished at the ballot box for behaving like evil divisive domestic terrorists had me feeling a bit frustrated.

Upon our flight landing into Baltimore, we picked up our car and began the three-hour drive home to West Virginia. My thoughts about the election were all over the place. A country song came on the radio, “You’ve Got to Stand for Something” by Aaron Tippin. The lyrics truly spoke to me, boosting my spirits.

…you got to stand for something or you’ll for fall for anything.

You’ve got to be your own man, not a puppet on a string.

Never compromise whats right and uphold your family name.

You got to stand for something or you’ll for fall for anything.”

Aaron’s song affirmed my God ordained mission to continue “standing for what’s right” — to keep fighting to send strong character driven politicians to represent us in Washington D.C. Senator Ted Cruz in Texas is one such man for whom I proudly campaigned.

Ted “stands for something” and that something is constitutional conservatism. Praise God Ted defeated Democrats’ $70 million extreme radical leftist golden boy Beto O’Rourke. Thank you God, for Republicans keeping the senate.

On the other hand, Utah congresswoman Mia Love proved to be a RINO “puppet on a string” disappointment. Several years ago, Mia spoke at the Republican convention boldly touting Tea Party conservative principles. Along with our Republican base, I was excited about a fellow black constitutional conservative on our side.

Suddenly, Mia scrapped her original team to sign-on with the GOP establishment’s team in Utah. Mia began distancing herself from the Tea Party. Aaron song says, “never compromise whats right…” Mia threw the Tea Party under the bus when she thought it would further her political career.

Many of the 45 Republicans who retired causing the GOP to lose the house were cut from the same disloyal and anti-Trump mold as Mia Love. By refusing to embrace Trump’s “America First” agenda, these Republicans did not “stand” for the best interest of our country. They “fell” for Democrats’ and fake news media’s lies. We the People and President Trump deserve much better.

It would be dishonest not to admit that I am suffering a bit of pushing-back-against-evil-Democratic Party burnout. But folks, the Bible says, “And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” Galatians 6:9

We must never grow weary in protecting and saving America. As we enter into the holiday season, I plan to enjoy loving my wife, family and friends; petting Sammy, our elderly greyhound — the smell of the cookies Mary is baking. Like George Bailey, I am grateful that God has blessed me with a wonderful life.

Meanwhile, I will remain engaged in special elections and recounts, keeping a watchful eye for Democratic Party dirty tricks and mob attacks during the holidays. I will trust in God and keep my powder dry in preparation of stopping Democratic Party attempts to roll back the remarkable unprecedented achievements Trump has made for “We the People”. Trump has kept his promises, stacking up 289 achievements and counting.

I met Aaron Tippin about 10 years ago. We were both featured recording artists at a Gathering of Eagles Troop Support Rally in Washington D.C. Aaron is an unpretentious, really nice patriotic guy. It is interesting that Aaron’s song showed up at a perfect time to encourage me. You got to stand for something or you’ll for fall for anything. Folks, please take a stand for America.

Have a happy and blessed holiday season.

I am more then disappointed in regards to the dem party (in name only) have retaken the house, I am disgusted. The dem party isn’t the problem, it’s the people who vote for them, the dem cartel is a reflection of the people who vote for them , this cartel would not exist except for those who vote for them. In other words it is the people who are corrupt. I was asking God why He let this happen, then I realized, He didn’t. He is allowing man the freedom to show us, we aren’t capable of governing ourselves , we need Him. We are hanging ourselves, headed to death , destruction , oppression and great suffering, brought about by our own hand. It is my opinion from all that I have seen that the time of Our Lord’s return is near, very near. Could I be wrong? Of course , perhaps something will change and the unfolding of prophecies will slow, again, I don’t believe this is the case. In the meantime we have to live in a world that is completely morally corrupt. Evil has been unleashed and do not see it being chained again, I see it growing. I won’t stop fighting for what is right despite the fact that I believe this world is on the last leg of the journey , a horrible time, before Christ returns to us. God bless you and your wife for keeping the faith and sharing your faith with the rest of us, it gives strength to those of us who begin to suffocate in the evil we see today.

    Dear Lloyd & Mary–

I could not agree more with this superb analysis of the results of the Mid-term elections. While I’m pleased we retained the Senate, I too am deeply disappointed we lost the House. Plus, we have another few years to endure the elitist judgement and lies, the scowling, bespectacled noses, and the abject HATE of the likes of Pelosi and her gang. But more than those outright scoundrels, those adversaries to our Constitution, to traditional American values, to the rights and liberties and WISDOM many of us in this nation have gained over the decades America has existed… I am profoundly disappointed in our fellow Americans who cast the wrong votes (or whose apathy) allowed those fools to be elected re/elected. They JUST DON’T GET IT. Whether they’re brain-washed, duped, or just plain born-stupid… Whatever the reason (and the P.C. crowd, the revisionists, and the leftists propagandists ARE to blame) those citizens, our woefully under-informed and malcontent neighbors have become ignorant sheep, un-thinking minions to the hysteria, the name-calling, the dumb, blind, mammalian herding instinct that stirs them into the mob mentality, to want to pillage and loot and visit violence on those they don’t even know, only to perpetuate an agenda that should have been long stricken-down among a more civilized, liberty-loving people.

No doubt about it, at the root of all of this is America’s having turned its back on Jesus Christ, on the urgings of the Holy Spirit, on God Almighty.

But all is not lost, my friends! Just as you so aptly cited Galatians 6:9, take courage in knowing that you are NOT alone. There are MILLIONS of us out here in the rural and small-town Heartland of America who are ACTIVELY standing there right beside you. I live in the sparsely-populated rural countryside of “West-River Country” South Dakota. Our home stands in the prairies shadowed to the west by the magnificent Black Hills. But even way out here in “flyover country” we shook the bushes of our neighborhoods to get more people out to vote this time than in many mid-terms previous. And where that happened, OUR SIDE WON. We put signs for the right people in our yards. We attended encouraging rallies to support the right causes. We exercised our rights to speak out against the lies, the adversarial tactics, and the devious tomfoolery intended to coerce our less-well-read neighbors. We VOTED.

This year my 34-year-old daughter, a proud, strong, nearly-independent yet intellectually-disabled, young woman– registered and voted for the very first time in her life. Even faced with the burden of a lifetime of cognitive challenges, EVEN SHE KNEW– and WITHOUT MY PROMPTING — who the right people were to cast her first-ever votes for!!!

We helped elect a fine conservative Christian young man, Dusty Johnson, to the U.S. House of Representatives. We also helped elect a sort of “back yard” neighbor of ours to the South Dakota State House. He is my brother Veteran — Tony Randolph — a strong, soft-hearted, eloquently-spoken, Bible-loving, Constitution-loving, compassionate gentleman who I had never met until I was visiting one of our annual gun shows here in Rapid City, South Dakota this past September. Beyond Tony’s 6’4″ height, amidst an exhibit hall of glibly-chatting cowboy-hatted rancher and native Lakota folk, Tony clearly stands out in a crowd. Some of that was his military leadership training, but most of it was all HIM. Tony isn’t originally from South Dakota any more than I am. But God in His infinite wisdom (and through the agency of our dear old Uncle Sam) saw fit to shape and move our lives via careers in the U.S. military (Tony from Kentucky, here via the U.S. Army and me from Michigan, here via the U.S. Air Force) and eventually brought us both to live out here in South Dakota amidst the “amber waves of grain” and “purple mountains majesty” of the last of America’s Old West. Over the years we both fell in love with this area, its scenic WILD-ness of the Black Hills, and among the honest, God-loving, hard-working, REAL cowboys and cowgirls who have always called this land their home. The both of us even married, strong, capable, intelligent, and exceptionally beautiful local ladies.

Now Tony, a fellow ‘expatriate from another state’ like me, was “only” elected as our District 35 representative to the South Dakota House of Representatives, BUT ITS A BIG START. Like me he’s a God-fearing, life-championing, law-abiding, gun-owning, Constitutional conservative, who puts his faith and family first, and only degrees before his love of AMERICA. Most of South Dakota’s U.S. Congress persons, our U.S. Senators, (and even our newest governor, God-loving, NRA-champion, bona-fide Cowgirl, Kristi Noem!), have all risen to influential positions from such humble beginnings.

So it IS possible, if we just don’t lose heart. We CAN and WILL defeat the “wolves” trying to devour our young, and destroy “weeds” sprouting up all around us if we don’t stop tending the fields.

God loves you folks, your message, and your heart for our beloved nation… AND SO DO WE. You are our brother and sister. Our FAMILY. Take a breath. Take a well-deserved rest. But keep on fighting the good fight. As steel sharpens steel, we grow stronger from the fellowship, the brotherhood, and the encouragement of others.

“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” (Gal. 6:9 KJV)

    Love in Christ Jesus

Well said, Lloyd and Mindy. Thank you, Lloyd and Mary, for all of your very hard work in doing the right thing and standing strong. I had no idea you were on the road for 2 years! No wonder Mary wept! It is very disheartening to say the least. I can see that Lloyd has the joy of the Lord in him, to keep positive about what is really important. We just need to hang on to Scripture such as Gal 6:9 and be buoyed by other soldiers in this fight. Our army may be small but we have no choice but to keep up the good fight.
PS Lloyd, it appears that your link for President Trump’s accomplishments isn’t working. Maybe this is the one you mean? https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/washington-secrets/trumps-list-289-accomplishments-in-just-20-months-relentless-promise-keeping
